They will have added on some if you mentioned going through insurance & it will include replacement of panels and/or respraying full panels with blending on adjacent ones, I reiterate my & everyone's posts above, a small, local or chips away (or similar) outfit will look more at filling, popping out & careful touching up which is massively cheaper

I didn't mention it but the bloke said I should. Well, they've lost themselves a potential customer and I shall tell everyone who asks about the massive leap in costs too! I'm going to have a look round for an alternative on Monday.

Was busy moving house (like you) busy settling in (like you) and started a new part-time job to help me settle into the area. Been moved since mid-October now, but I've been reading every update you've made and lurking :D

Well stop lurking woman and get out here in the open where we can see you :rotfl:

Have you settled in nicely yet? My attention is wandering into the garden. You do need a space for a summer glass of wine in the evening :D All I've managed to do is work out where the sun is at what time of day, quite a feat when you consider how little sun we've had.

    Are you enjoying the job?

I went to check the Captain and Noah's field yesterday it is still very wet, too wet to think about fencing and shelters. My lovely farmer friend says not to worry it'll dry out quickly and he'll start getting things together then the boys will be home. I think there's going to be trouble as Roger took offence to us standing in his way and pecked my boot :rotfl:

Colin is refusing to eat his dinner again, wants what I am having. I am ignoring him. He is only just fitting through the cat-flap as it is. Every time he goes through it sounds like the whole panel of the back door is going to accompany him. It won't do him any harm to lose a little weight.

Second best comment puts me in mind of when I was working in an office when faxes were the way of communication. A fax had gone off and arrived at the wrong destination. A phone call from the other company with a very helpful young lady who offered to fax the fax back :rotfl: Hopefully most of you here are not techno-born and know that the original fax stays with the sender and the recipient only gets a copy, you can't send it back!

One old boss of mine complained about the amount of paper we were using on faxes coming in, these were mainly orders, he thought we were taking it home to give to our kids for drawing, I very helpfully, with a very firm tongue in cheek, turned off the fax, cue flustered boss.. How we laughed......

    They are strange creatures sometimes!

Snow, you say? I wonder if we'll get it here, hope not. It will make the ground very slippery.

Huge problems getting out of bed this morning. Colin woke me early for first breakfast which I gave him then returned to bed:o Then just couldn't wake up! I'm sitting here with a fresh strong cup of coffee knowing it's double shift Friday and that I've got to make some dumplings to go along with the beef casserole I've made for work. Then I've got to trudge the lot through the pouring rain to get there - deep joy!

Still moaning about it won't make it go away, best I get on and embrace the day:D
