As explained I've been too tired too post, sad but true:o All I've done for the last few days is work and sleep.
The red beauty has made hobnobs, banana cake, victoria sandwich, chocolate cake and bread pudding this week. Thus netting £25 towards her fund. Actually, as I've already paid for her I might use the cake money for saving for an ipad or some such techno wizardry. Either way it's being put aside in a tin.
Really ought to get on with some housework, but my housework mojo is missing, anyone seen it?

Someone has run all along the side of my car :mad: It is scratched from wheel arch to wheel arch. I'm not happy, they've done it and run off without leaving a note. I'm going to have to try to claim on my insurance. That's today's day off taken care of.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Oh no. When will it ever end? Am I being stupid in thinking they may contact you later? Maybe, just maybe they will if it happened in the night and they didn't have paper and pen handy.0

I can't recall whether you have many neighbours where you are now but if you have, have a quick look about for fresh corresponding damage on cars in the immediate vicinity & ask neighbours if they heard/saw anything, you never know
Hope you get it sorted fairly painlessly, might be worth a quote from a smart repairer like Chips Away (national franchise, will have someone locally who will come to you) before involving insurance they can sort stuff like that for usually a lot less than your excess- Mortgage: 1st one down, 2nd also busted

£800 :eek::eek::eek::eek: That is the quote for repairing the bodywork. I'll get a written, more accurate quote in the post, now isn't that something to look forward to? I've claimed on line for the damage, I've got an excess of £350 which I'll have to pay if they agree  Still, £350 is less than £800, but......
I thought my Kindle had died as well, I was very upset and already looking at where I could get the best price for a new one. Yes, it would appear I am a reading addictThen I thought I'd look up the problem on t'internet and there was a solution :T:T My Kindle is better, that's £100 saved. I really love the thing, so nice to read in bed and very convenient at work when it's quiet. I like to think I'm broadening my mind by reading. But in all honesty, I'm just escaping, these days I'm not into intellectual reads at all. Escapism is what it's all about!
