My hair is trimmed and I have had new blonde bits put back in. I am a sparkly blonde again :T The drive back from the hairdressers was somewhat alarming with the car being blown all over the place. It is horrifically windy with rain lashing down right now, not looking forward to driving to work later.
The black banana bread mixed in the red beauty is lovely. I took some to work last night to try out on some customers. The verdict was a thumbs up and that they would happily pay for a slice.
The night-time trip to the supermarket didn't reveal any body parts that shouldn't be revealed, unlike Greying's viewing of a builder's bottom and accessories [see Greying's diary for full details :rotfl:] Just a couple of drunk girls who obviously felt that the perfect end to a night out was a carouse round Tesco :huh:Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Not quite sure why, but I think I have now cottoned onto to the fact that you have your much coveted KA which I remember many many moons ago that you were desperate to own !!:D I am so pleased that you are finally the proud owner of such a beauty .......... I will be over for tea and cake in the morning xxx

Just catching up Piq - SO glad you finally got your KA - and a red one too! :T
Glad also that things have "settled down" a bit - having had that run-in the other week with the mad lunatic who tried to run me over I can confirm that this sort of thing plays on your mind far more than you think it will, I reckon. As you say - keep your eyes open and be alert, but try to move on if you can.
Also identify entirely with the difficulty in spending money - I've taken 2 months to finally push the button to purchase the new lens I've just bought for the camera - daft eh! :rotfl:🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

No not daft at all. I think it shows that the lessons we have learned through fighting our way out of debt have well and truly taken route. I'm proud of the way I search round for the best deal and save pennies wherever I can and I am sure you are too. Enjoy that lens, although you being in the same part of the world as me probably won't be using it today. Horrid horrid weather :eek:Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Keith......*sniggers, then laughs out loud* Can you imagine Keith and Colin out on the pull?:rotfl:]
When we got our new kitten, now long deceased, we kids were trying to decide on a name. Our older sister at one stage wanted to call him Tarzan. She had this idea when calling him in for dinner, she'd play a recording of the Tarzan yell across the neighbourhood. Keep in mind, said kitty was a nine week ball of fluff that barely fitted onto your hand. Tarzan - I don't think so. It got voted down, but I still remembering visualising what hearing that call would sound and how the neighbours would react.0 -

:rotfl:If you lost the recording you would actually have to do the Tarzan cry. Then what would the neighbours think? Can DD's Eric come as well
Can't see why not :rotfl:I've been thinking about getting a companion for Colin and was thinking about either Derek or Nigel. Might as well embrace the ridiculous cat name thing....Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Mind you, I had a friend that had a budgie when we were teenagers. Budgie had no name and I kept telling her to name him. I wish I'd kept quiet - Cyrill.0

I had a cat called Muffin, too! Another one was called Pepsi and another was simply called Moggy. I still miss them.0
