So glad you are back Piq, I have been worried about you.
We have a KC and they are wonderful. Can I suggest you try a wanted on Freecycle as sometimes they do appear on there.
Is there any chance of your posting a picture of The Captain & Noah as I am sure we would all like to see them.
I don't have horses but alpacas, (down to two now) which are currently standing on islands as we are very flooded. But they do have a nice field shelter with hay nets and bowls of hard food, plus thick straw bedding. But, they are a bit miffed at the moment.
Let's just hope it stops raining.0 -

Alpacas???? I love alpacas! The Captain doesn't but he's not here to give his opinion at the moment :rotfl:I definitely think field shelters are the way to go, giving outdoor pets somewhere to go if they want to. I think, sometimes, we over-baby horses with rugs and stables. When you go to Ireland you rarely see a horse in a rug. My excuse is the Captain is old and my big baby....:rotfl::rotfl:I might post a picture of the boys when they come home, problem is, the Captain is very distinctive anyone could pick him out in crowd

This morning I'm going to blitz the housework. The bedding is already in the washing machine. One of the myriad of problems pale carpets bring is a dark tabby cat. I keep thinking that the carpet is dirty whereas it is actually cat hair, thanks Colin....
So just having a cup of coffee and a catch up on here, then it's set the timer for half hour bursts and do the whole lot [I hope]
Whilst houseworking I will be thinking about the red KA, I found an online 15% voucher code, seems to be the most I can save. I might order it later. I seem to be having a lot of difficulty spending money these days :rotfl:Eventually the mse habits take root!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Glad to hear it's not just me with carpets changing colour due to cat hair. In my case, the two play and I end up with tufts of white fluff dotted artistically throughout the house from my boy. Usually they set to immediately after I've hoovered. He also likes to leave a smattering of fluff on my jeans - when he condescends to sit with me. Got to love them though!
Would love a KA, but funds don't allow (at the moment) so will be watching your adventures with your red beauty with some envy.

Ay up Piq lovely to *see* ya
I just popped on to second jaybee's suggestion of Harts of Stur - I got my PC from them, best price on the net and delivered the next day before 8.30am! (and I am more than an hours drive away from them)
However, I see you've got the opportunity of a 15% voucher - so you will of done 'the math' - so instead I'm going to look forward to hearing 'mixology tales' plus gleaning a few new recipes!I'm not sure I'd be able to resist the temptation of all the add on gadgets - I'd probably *need* the pasta roller, just coz of the neato way it fixes to the KA machine :rotfl:
Have a great Sunday.

Housework done! I even cleaned the insides of the windows :T I had to clean the windows of the cat sentry point, as Garfield like Colin had pressed his non too clean under-carriage against the glass to ward off potential intruders  It seems to have worked as we haven't had any intruders in the house...
I'm not doing any overtime tonight, although the money is nice I decided I didn't want people assuming I would always work Sundays. It is polite to ask
The red beauty is orderedon top of the 15% voucher I should have £11.98 coming back through Quidco one day in the future. I'm very excited and have a space already sorted for it, all I need to do is decide what it's first task will be. It was very hard parting with the money, but I told myself: I am debt free, the money is mine not borrowed, it will make me money in the long term and I promised myself one as a debt free reward a very long time ago.
