Honestly Snaggles I couldn't run at all 3 weeks ago! Schedule started off at a nice easy pace..I have found though that the first 10-15 mins are always the worse...but then your body warms up and gets used to it! In a fit of madness the other week I signed myself up to run a 10k next weekend...6 miles! Hopefully I will be able to do it! Gotta try my best as my dad is coming down to watch and cheer me on...my daughter will be there too...but at 10 years old, she finds everything boring and will probably spend the whole time playing her blimin Nintendo DS thing!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

You lucky thing Pap - I'm still waiting for Asda to get some of the £5 ones back in stock! I've even put aside the money for it, lol!
I've been a bit silly though and read quite a bit about it on t'internet, so I sort of know what happens, but if anything it's just made me want to read it more.
Still haven't finished The Time Travelers Wife though.....I used to be able to read a book in a day or so, but babies and children (and sheds) just take up sooo much time don't they??!! :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
DK - that made me giggle - the first 10-15 minutes are the worst - I would have collapsed before my body had even warmed up.
Very best of luck for your race though, hope it goes well."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Hi guys.
I'm back at work and feeling a bit better. Although my diet has really suffered over the last 2 weeks, although saying that I've not lost anything, but I've not put on either. I pigged out over the weekend and I'm now trying to be really good until I weigh in on Thursday. Wish me luck I'm going to need it.
Today I will be eating:
2 weetabix + skimmed milk
Apple
Banana
Bacon and egg salad followed by a yogurt.
Grilled pork chop with fresh veg and some new potatoes.
Loads of fruit to snack on.
Hopefully only going to have 3 syns today, for extra light mayo and some gravy.

Hi all - Keren - well done on the weight loss!
DK - well done on the runningHave you noticed any differences in your body yet? Could you post a link to the schedule?
I've not been good. Eating is the only thing that makes me feel normal and able to function at the mo. Oh well.
PAP- I LOVE that song. Me and the kids dance around to it and I love the fact it has women of all shapes in the video - I had DD saying she was fat the other day (I am careful not to speak about my body issues in front of her btw) and she is only 4!! She was just exploring words I think, but I've gone on about lots of shapes being attractive etc and I think she gets it now. The song helps anyway. And it's very catchy and brilliant to leap about the living room to!
Hope all are well.

hi all - haven't been able to log on much recently so a big well done to everyone who's still trying / succeeding...well, slightly shamed by the big fat zero next to my name and not wanting to let Team Toto down, can I add a 4lb loss. Not entirely sure about this as my bathroom scales show 3 different versions depending on where they are located - weird thing is that 2 of those locations both appear to be level according to spirit level
?? Third location showed a 9lb loss and had a very nice view from the window but i must have been standing at some kind of Superman angle...
