Thanks for the kind words PAP - I am going to try the slimfast only for a week, just to see if I can get myself out of a cycle of eating and eating and eating..

The good thing about it is I give a lot of thought to my dinner. Tonight I am having lamb steaks with chick pea mash and peas. Yum yum.

I don't intend to do slimfast for more than a week, I couldn't take it.

Lucy don't feel guilty about your mum. As a mum - I would give my girls my last pennies and be glad about it. I would have sent you some shoes, except I don't really do shoes!! More of a flip flop kind of person..

Toto - you are barking mad and I love you for it! I would love to go to Australia and would seriously think about selling up and just going if I could see some way of doing it without giving my OH a nervous breakdown...:rotfl:

now time for another little rant from me ~ its pay day tommorow which means i get my monthly allowence :j the amount is yet to be discovered but i have decided i want to get davina's 'power of three' dvd as i love her 30min workouts. I looked on ebay but i wont buy anything with a stock photo (as i have had fakes before) and the ones with normal photos are reaching £10+ without postage... So i look on amazon/play/hmv now check this out ~ box set (inc power of 3 and 30min) price on the left and just the power of three price on the right...

amazon ~ £13.98 ~ £14.98
play ~ £12.99 ~ £14.99
hmv ~ £17.99 ~ £15.99

so as you can see it will be cheaper for me to buy the box set from play and get two new dvds than it would for me to just buy the single dvd... how stupid eh!?! so i will prob put the dvd i have now on ebay and keep the new ones ~ unless one of you would like it instead?
