  • too much sammy, lol.
Have just moved beyond the "I'm quite tall so I can carry it" stage and have grumpily concluded that I have to Do Something.

Late nights / early mornings / no exercise - HOW didn't I see it coming?

Anyway my aim is to lose as much of 4 stone of colonising blubber as possible
    before my birthday in December...

How long is the challenge for?

    K

well, technically Lenny is back in september, but there are lots of people here who want to lose more than 22lbs so we'll keep going until everyone looks like kate moss on a skinny day.

  • The best way to lose weight is to eat all you want of everything you don't like :rotfl: ~ quote found on the web
  • Thanks, Toto - off to read the beginning of the thread to see what's what...

I'm using weight watchers right now pap, but a good site for calorie counting is www.weightlossresources.co.uk there is a free 3 day trial which will get you started. I found inputting my food every day and actually seeing how much/ little I was eating really helpful

Here's a tip too if you don't want to join after the 3 days. put in loads of different menu ideas for a day, print off, clear and then add another, print clear etc. That way you'll have your own database of meals you do eat to refer to.

Elantan, look on the bright side.

In 6 weeks, your harness will fit and you wont need to buy a new one.

Now put the sweets away :D
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches
