Right food for today.

Breakfast - coffee
Lunch - egg, toast, bacon and beans
Dinner, I've got a real chicken in my fridge so I'm going to have a go at cooking that, so dinner will either be cremated poultry or salmonella with mashed spuds and mixed veg.

What is the weight of the chicken? Basically 20 minutes per pound plus 20 minutes at Gas Mark 5/180C. Get the oven nice and hot, wrap in foil and pop in. 20 minutes before the end, open foil and baste.

Thanks for that keren, the chicken is 2.3 kg it doesn't say pounds. I got a big one because I thought I could make a casserole or soup or something with what's left.

That's the first time anyone has said they're coming round for dinner when I've said I'm cooking, usually people become incredibly busy with weeding the window boxes or de-fleaing the hamster. I'm getting better though (thanks to you)

That's a 5 pound chicken Toto. Two hours will do it, make sure the oven is nice and hot first. Pop a sharp knife in the flesh between the breast and leg and give it 10 more minutes if the juices aren't clear.

No, I'll be there - I'll bring the calorie free dessert!

Good morning! I've just had brunch as I was a bit late for breakfast and didn't dare not eat anything again lol! So we had poached egg and beans on toast, and it was lovely.

I'm looking forward to weigh-in day this week, because I sneaked onto the scales this morning (couldn't resist) and I've lost a pound so far. Just need to stay away from wine and nibbles this weekend.

Oh, and I've coloured my hair this morning, it doesn't look all that different really, but a bit lighter coloured and shinier - just need to convince hubby to take me out somewhere now, to show it off!

I have had a weetabix for brekkie

And I have just had 5% fat mediterranean sausages x2 with an egg and a potato croquette for my lunch....

Unfortunately we have friends round tonight so I am going to HAVE to HAVE another chinese. Otherwise I will have to cook, and I must be on a par with Toto on the home cooking front.

Oh and there will be drink, but after that I will be a good girl I promise and no more chinese. Well, it will be easy after Monday I will be on a boat!

DD2 did say yesterday as I bent down that my bum didn't look as big (I think she was trying to pay me a compliment!) and I do feel slimmer.
