    Morning all

After my post last night I had a massive row with OH about holidays! He is working with a bunch of young idiots who are earning bags of money. My OH is 47 and one of the oldest there. His head is being filled with all these idiots talking about how much money they have and he comes home every night miserable about how we are so skint. He is now upset because I told him we can't afford to go on holiday on a cruise around the meditteranean at a cost of £900 per person. Even if I could afford it I couldn't justify nearly £4,000 (before spends!) So he sulked. He is like a big kid.

This is the man who doesn't open his pay packet and has no idea how much any of the bills are, who following being made redundant sat on his backside for over 12 months living off his redundancy until I lost my job, when he panicked took the first job offered, which was crap and then lost that job because he was so stressed!

OUr friends have emigrated and he is so unsatisfied with his life that it is upsetting me! I went to buy a bottle of wine i was so upset, but drank half a glass and fell asleep!!!!!

So I am naffed off that I didn't get my ironing done, but pleased because I didn't drink myself into a stupor.

I think non-joint finances may be the answer but he is really hopeless with money.

    LIH - Well done, that's fantastic!!! :T

Sammy - Men!!! Well done for not having a hangover to contend with this morning too though. Have you tried talking to him about how his attitude is making you feel? Maybe offer to take him on one of those mini-cruises where you basically stay on a ferry for 2 nights and go to France or Amsterdam for the day lol!

Right, yesterday was a carp day diet-wise (and just about everything else-wise), hubby brought fish and chips home with him - luckily he remembered I was on a diet so just bought 2 portions - one for him, and one for me & Ryan to share. So it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

    Today I'm going to:

Eat a healthy breakfast - cereals and an apple
    Walk to school and back
    Do the housework
Have beans on toast for lunch
Do next week's meal plan and make a shopping list
Walk to school and back again
Go shopping, sticking within this weeks budget of £60
Make something healthy for dinner (depends what I find in the freezer)

And somewhere amongst that lot I've got to fit in looking after a small baby too! :D

sammy really sorry to hear about your troubles with your oh it must be hard when there are younger guys working in the office getting into debt (no doubt) or living with mum and dad... my man is the same literally this morning the outside freezer was discovered broken (he thinks he has left the freezer door open) and over £400 worth(yep you guessed it not long filled up again) of rotten food was discovered his answer.... go for a loan go back into debt so we argued and he has now left for work in a huff too

well i did weigh in and lost the grand total of 3/4 of a pound ....10 days and not even a full pound to show for it i think i will need to go back over food diary and have a look at what ive eaten over the last ten days ..i know it cant be excercise as ive done plenty of that ...but i did loose 3 inches so cant complain there right i'm away off to clean this freezer

I'm sure you could 'accidentally' break the freezer, and then claim for a broken freezer.....!

*shakes head* I'm a very bad person :o
