No good from a mobile! Not everyone has access to a landline.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

True but you could ask a friend to use there's or if there is a Phonebox nearby you could always use that.
It seems no matter what someone suggests it won't be good enough for you!!!Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -

Why the hell would I want to trek miles in search of a phonebox when I have a perfectly serviceable mobile phone? And LloydsTSB provide landline numbers to call for that very reason! As the majority of people with landlines have inclusive minutes anyway an 0800 number is of very little use to most people anyway.
You're just argumentative for the sake of it and have still failed to respond to my earlier comment to you!“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

giffgaff is free to 08000 -
I have a pay as you go mobile so don't use my mobile to call banks. Only have free telephone calls after 6pm and weekends so prefer to use a free phone number. Their other number is 01733 232030 if you don't want to use free phone number."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

As for dictating what you should do, common sense should tell you what you should do, not looking on a forum to tell you what to do!!!
If you bothered to read the thread properly, you will see that I was not 'looking on a forum to tell me what to do', I commented that I also was having issues with Lloyds website, as per the topic of the thread.
I was not 'stupid', and did not 'leave transferring money late'. It was a planned transfer and it was inconvenient the site was down. That is all. Whether or not you found it inconvenient does not dicate how others would have viewed the situation.
No-one asked for your opinion specifically on what they should do, you chose to aggressively direct your views to others. Your arrogance is beyond belief.
As the matter is now dealt with and the site is up and running again, I shall not be wasting my time with you childish comments any further. This site is for people trying to save money and to manage their finances. Let's leave it as that.0 -

Yet it took you 3 days to reply to a comment so obviously you have just wasted your time and mine by replying!!
I wasn't being childish it seems because my views were not to your agreement you say I was aggressive
.
I found your replies to be aggressive to, but this a forum where different views are expressed, so took then with a pinch of salt.
