The hoilday is 2 weeks, OP has said one week with her & one with him. So 50/50 for that particlar 2 week half term.
Don't think this would actally change your opinion on it though
Personally I feel the Dad had hardly any interest in them untill CSA got invovled and he is now thinking it will probally be cheaper for him to have them more...
No, I haven't. And no it doesn't.
He's asking for 1 extra week, hardly ramping up his access is he and it won't make a blind bit of difference to his CSA.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
an extra half a week surely ? He'd have had them for half the week anyway -and wants the other half as extra so an extra 3.5 daysI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Sorry but I agree with the OP.
A father who wants the children on own terms, or as a means to reduce his CSA payment, especially when he makes the children decide which parent they want to spend time with, at the same time as badmouthing their mother and stepfather.
That's not a parent at all; just a bully. Would you want your child to grow up with these traits?
This works both ways, a mother who wants control over when the children can see their father and making them feel guilty for wanting to spend time with him is just as damaging to the children. Why should it all be on the mothers terms? Maybe this is something the father has wanted for a long time but hasn't felt he could ask for it before now because he knew what reaction he would get from the mother.0 -

Yes I think I established it was my mistake, hence editing the post within a few minuties -.-
Can we move on? Can understand the two people who quoted me because they saw it before I edited it but its getting silly now.People don't know what they want until you show them.0 -
The October half term is two weeks in Scotland so it may be a whole week OP is talking about.0

I agree with you, but there is another side to this - we don't know that this is why the OP's ex wants his children more, and the OP picked him. I didn't, you didn't - she did.0 -

There is no suggestion from the OP that that is what's behind his request, that was mooted by another user entirely.Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100 -

That's quite unusual though isn't it, do you have shorter summer hols?
Most schools, at the moment, follow the same holiday timetable. OP says hers does.cakeforbrains wrote: »I say 'no, hang on, let's share the October week 50/50' suddenly I am being completely unfairAccept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
