Well done on the debt front!
We have enough people in our lives trying to put us down so please do not do it to yourself - IT IS BAD FOR YOU!!!0 -
Alex, that's brilliant news!
Coach says don't put yourself down though

Thank you.
I'll be pleased to see the debt gone but am aware that I haven't really had to put much effort in to clear it.Great news Alex, well done. Hope that you and the family are O.K.
Thank you.
This time last year I thought once the money problems had gone I'd be a lot better. Unfortunately, this is not the case, especially after a particularly difficult day. I suppose it's proof money is not the be all and end all.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -
Only you could pay off debts of £32 000+ and not count it as an achievement.
And we're all ears for any other news!
Many congratulations anyhow.:A
Thank you.
I am pleased to see the light at the end of that particular tunnel. However, my "achievement" pales into insignificance when compared to some of the diaries on here; the amount paid is largely irrelevant.
Unfortunately, I've no good news to share.Well done Alex, great achievement, however you did it .. You still did it !
Thank you.I am glad that you are on target to be debt free by the end of the year. Congratulations. Then you can enjoy the fruits of your labours - within budget of course
Thank you, Chev.
Not sure I'll be enjoying anything after the debts have been paid, as my day to day finances will not change.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200

When oh when will you concede that you are a nice person who was given way too much financial responsibility way too early and did what most young people would do & spend it all. It really is time you forgave yourself & stopped paying for your perceived mistakes.0

Well that's just where you're wrong Alex!! You've put in a massive effort as you've had to completely change your attitude to money (and to life in general). I know you still hanker after 'stuff' but you have a much more realistic attitude and you no longer look down your nose at people less fortunate than yourself. And you've done all this while being an excellent father to LittleK, keeping your business running and doing voluntary work and with almost no support from MrsK at all. I think that's a huge achievement.:T:T:T0 -

Alex there will always be something to cast gloom over your life - if you let it. Once one problem is gone the mind fixates on the next thing - unless you deliberately switch your thoughts and decide to be happy - no matter what.
You seem very unimpressed by having cleared your debts - a great achievement and now you can concentrate on the future.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0
