That sounds like a most beatiful present, if something like that had been done for me I'd be over the moon.

DD - got me some posh toilettries, (Boots 75% sale - I pd), out of her pwn money she brought me a me to u set for the car - she left the price on!! only £1.99 but it could have been a million quid, still be as happy. xx

mum2one: Thanks. :) Also, glad you had a nice day.
I think I often sound harsher than I mean to, Alex, and I'm about to do it again... :)

I know Mrs K. does spend time with your son, but swanning off on holiday twice without him doesn't paint a great picture really. Or is she taking him with her?

    HBS x

I do understand where you are coming from but she does care about our son, in her own way.

She's taking him on one but not on the other. To be honest, she just wants to get away from everything for a bit: she's on the edge of war with somebody she works with and is hardly getting on well with me. I'm hoping it will do her some good.

Alex, look closely at your comment above.
I can see the end of your marriage looming through it, if you permit your parents to control Little K's future.

I have to say I'm rather confused by this comment? I am not letting my parents control my son's future at all.

    Wednesday 2nd April, 2014.

    Dear Diary,

Apologies in advance, I'm far too tired to write an articulate entry today, maybe I shouldn't have bothered. :o

Today has been a busy one; starting at 8.15am and finishing at 8.30pm, no dinner waiting for me when I got home, either. Anyhow, business seems to be looking up somewhat and I've set aside sometime next week to begin planning the next stage of world domination... erm, OK perhaps that is taking it a bit far.

On the debt busting front nothing has been accomplished today.

    Summary:
    Tuesday:
    +£30.00 Music Teaching.
    -£70.00 Mrs. K. Petrol.
    -£6.00 Mrs. K. Lunch.
    Wednesday:
    +£60.00 Music Teaching.
    -£50.00 LR Diesel.
    -£27.00 Groceries.
    -£6.00 Mrs. K. Lunch.

    Yours Faithfully,
    Alex.

:rotfl: Mrs. K. taking lunch in, that stopped only a couple of weeks after it started.

Yes, I do hope to move the business forwards as for my dinner, it was pizza (shop bought too). :rotfl: :o

Alex, it means that what happens in little k's life is up to his parents.... Not his grandparents.....

I took that statement as regardless of what happens, he will go to prep school no matter what. Perhaps mrs k feels that as she has no say in what happens to her son, she is trying to control other elements in her life.

I know I don't often agree with mrs k's actions.... But this subject has just given me the thought of how hard is must be to have no say in what happens on your sons education.

I know if it was me, I'd be quite angry if my oh & in-laws were ignoring my choices for my son.

Have you asked her if that's the case on how she feels? X

pebbles: It is not just my parents wishing to send him to prep school, I do too. With regards to my wife's thoughts on the matter, she is not going to be of the attitude it's a bad thing, just an expensive one.

Iwillsucceed: Thank you. Got a little more time to start work on things today, so hopefully a "fruitful day" ahead. :)

  • Today, I am committed to seeing the glass half full! :-)

Alex, I wanted to ask you to make time (10 mints) in your daily schedule and read a webpage called: positively positive! I believe you could benefit from it!
Online there are great articles on business magazines about how to innovate a business, branding, etc, etc...
    Have a fruitful day indeed!

    I'll have a look. :)

Ended up being busier with "other things" than I thought I would be and just said goodbye to a very tiring 5 year old music pupil. Could go to sleep until tomorrow now but sadly I've got another soon. No wonder I don't get around to doing anything I want to get done.

Aww tiring usually means enthusiastic though! My junior squad tire me out but it's great when they hit a new stunt. I just shout at the seniors ;)
