Don't ever forget Alex that you ARE making progress. It may be slower than you like but it is there. And you are doing that despite being ill. Just keep on keeping on.
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Chev,
Thank you.
Today has been especially difficult but still busy enough to keep me out of trouble.heartbreak_star wrote: »Too busy to update us?????......

To busy to think which for me is a good thing, so much so that I'm even going to bed at a reasonable hour and getting a proper night's sleep. Tomorrow is my first quiet day this week and I'm already dreading it.
So do I and I hope beyond rationality my parents do not take things the wrong way. However, in reality I'm almost certain that is exactly what they will do.hope everything is ok with family, xx
We'll be OK.

Hope you get some sleep tonight Alex.
I am a horrendous sleeper, so tonight have downloaded a sleep App (£1.69 ) I think which I suppose, given the Pinot National Debt situation is frivolous. But........ it apparently monitors sleep patterns and makes a graph for you to see in the morning. Knowing how erratically I sleep I am looking forward to inspecting the graph tomorrow. I'm not quite sure exactly of the point of the app, I think I need to investigate it some more !!

Hi Alex,
Have not been on MSE for a while but I HAVE been very MSE with £150 off home insurance found though we are near a watercourse, £100 of car insurance & a cheaper deal on BB+landline - über chuffed!
Oo-er, scary thought, if I carry on like this I may have to start knitting my own yoghurt!
I really feel for you, sounds like you're going to tell the Olds something they don't want to hear & it could be hairy.
Just grit your teeth & get it over with quick - we'll all be here for tea (though you may really need something stronger) & sympathy if you need it.
Glad to hear you're sleeping better & that it's because of good old-fashioned hard graft & not stronger drugs - keep going! :T
Good luck with it all & read you soon.0 -

I'm sorry for not responding earlier, I've had a lot to deal with and to do these past few days.
Sleep has been generally very good recently, this keeping busy idea is working better than anything else I've tried.
Although there has been days I have had to force myself to actually begin getting anything done.
Did you find out the point of the app?2018 totals:

Hi Granariesgirl, First of all, thank you. Apologies if ths reply is incoherent for some reason my computer is not working as it should, yet again on this site. However, whilst your MSE ways have been sickenly good, you cannot go knitting your own yoghurt yet for you're my partner in crime! I was going to tell the "Olds" something they didn't want to hear but it didn't happen due to my father being taken ill.Granariesgirl wrote: »Hi Alex,

Dear Diary,
Thank goodness it's half term ... and I'm not even a real teacher! Still, I'm glad to have the week off from school, even though I've no doubt by the end of the week I shall be looking forward to going back. Not that I've fell back into my previously lazy ways, instead I've found things to do; a word of warning, never become self-employed for "the easy life".
Unfortunately, I have got no further with my debt busting.
However, we have had a frugal month thus far, meaning some rather impressive figures are currently showing in the bank account I can scarcely believe is my own.
Two things to be thankful for (yes, this is back now I can actually think of some):
I. Seeing musical progression and those light bulb moments where a concept clicks into place in ones mind. (Perhaps, I should have been a "real teacher" after all!)
II. Largely escaping the bad weather.
Summary:
£11.00 Groceries.
Yours Faithfully,
Alex.2018 totals:

One of the reasons I do teaching is to see a child "get it" and be totally overjoyed by that, by being able to do something they thought they couldn't - it's a good feeling

Keep plodding; it'll all be worth it in the end
Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
