As long as your ok thats all that matters.
Spends are better than what i thought they could be - esp when you mentioned pens.... so is it an investment or future for sale xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
That should feel scary - because it is haha!
Hope the pen's going straight on eBay for more than you paid, I don't want to feel you're slipping...
How come Mrs K's work do cost so much? I'll be using my 2 drink tokens then going home, total cost £5 for my Secret Santa

Hello there, glad things are going well.
The figures in your signature are looking good as well.
I always save on the office Christmas do, by simply not going. But in some offices it's very political, and the work do is something that has to be endured!
I do Secret Santa though. Not sure why, if it can't be eaten , my present normally goes straight onto eBay! :rotfl:Early retired - 18th December 2014

Thank you and it's one to go up for sale; I don't even like it.heartbreak_star wrote: »That should feel scary - because it is haha!

See above re. the pen, it's worth 5-6 times the amount I paid for it.
As for Mrs. K.'s work 'do, it was all on drinks I'm afraid to say; I bought a cheap bottle of Champagne (£40), then a couple of drinks after.Goldiegirl wrote: »Hello there, glad things are going well.

Thank you, if my second Full and Final get back soon, I'm hoping my signature will read even better.
My wife generally gets on well with the people she works with and likes to go. I don't mind even if the receptionist's husband and I cannot get on.
:rotfl: Mrs. K.'s work doesn't do a Secret Santa.2018 totals:

Morning Alex , Hows it going today ? Any more word on the F & F offers ? Wouldnt it be great if you could get another one settled before the New Year ?
I guess spending money is ok if you have it to spend and its not adding to your debt. Good to know that your music teaching is keeping the landrover in deisel.
Christmas shopping is a disaster here, I have no idea what to get my brothers or Brothers in law .. You men are so hard to buy for ! lol
No food shopping started either, between working full time and looking after mum who has just had a hip replaced, I have no idea where time is going ! Might get the tree up next weekend . Wish I had an elf to help me ! lol
Whoops ... cross posted ..Its just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0 -
I don't mind even if the receptionist's husband and I cannot get on.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Hi Mara,
I'm rather good for once, must be getting into the Christmas spirit.
Still waiting to hear back from the second Full and Final but am hopeful to have it wrapped up before 2014 dawns.
In regard to our spending, we have gone a little overboard as of late and whilst not adding to any "real world" debt, I now owe the business a little money.
:rotfl: Re. the Christmas shopping. I can smugly announce we are done! And, no food to buy.
Rather shocked to hear you've not got your tree up yet but I hope your Mum makes a quick recovery. So come on, what was he boasting about and what was your withering put downheartbreak_star wrote: »Yes! I want to know this too! :j

He was mainly going on about his upcoming holiday and having a laugh at our expense after admitting we are having a holiday free year in 2014. Then there was his brand new C63 AMG to talk about, of course and his latest property purchase. Much to your disappointment, I remained rather quiet.2018 totals:

Echo: We avoided sitting next to him.
So, didn't have to listen to him too much, unlike last year.
