Well now you know it wasn't because of a spectacular pen spend or similar :rotfl: ;).

We only have your word for it. Spot audit on receipts due any day Alex so watch out (and they can borrow your green ink to mark them off :rotfl:)

:rotfl: You just want to play with my green ink. Besides, I don't keep receipts. :)

On another note, don't feel very well today and have a meeting as well as orchestra rehearsal later. This has got to be getting on for the third week now that I've been ill.

Well that's the meeting done, complete waste of time that was. :rotfl: Hoping that I enjoy the orchestra rehearsal this evening, if not I don't think I'll be going back but going to give it another chance.

On the bad front: the weather is disgusting and Mrs. K. rang me up fuming about awkward contractor who she has now refused to deal with, seemingly surprised her superiors are not happy with her decision.

HBS / mum2one: Will go back to the doctors on Monday if I'm still under the weather.

    Wednesday 16th October, 2013.
    Day 45.

    Dear Diary,

This is going to be an awfully short entry as I've been busy with business and the orchestral rehearsal and not with debt busting. Mrs. K. has managed to land herself in trouble at work which has made the evening rather strained to say the least.

On the good front, we've both managed a no spend day and I quite enjoyed orchestra this week, even if I do still detest the repertoire!

    Summary:
Big round of applause needed for Mr. and Mrs. K., neither of us have spent a penny all day. :)

    Yours Faithfully,
    Alex.

Thats brilliant new about the no spend day, and the orchestra, sounds like you have found another vocation in life.

Hopefully things will blow over at work for Mrs K, did the client do something to upset her? or it a case of sleeping on it and some grovelling to do 2mor...

    Hope Little K ok.

    You both take care xx

Just wish I could choose the repertoire! Mrs. K. finds my want to change the orchestra's repertoire amusing as it reminds her of when we first met and I conducted within university.

She had the first meeting with this contractor about a week ago; they were being awkward with their requirements and disagreed with wife's solution to the problem which she (well within her rights) contested (more than one way to do the job). This week she's been working on this particular job and today it just all got a bit much and she "walked out" on doing that particular job when her superiors told her she'd been assigned the work. It is rather bad, she rang me this afternoon to tell me which she never usually does.

Sounds like Mrs K is going to get a lesson on the consequences of that independent and stubborn streak! Hope she is open to learning! This might be the Universe's way of helping you out, Alex! I'll cross my fingers!

HOK3Y: I've just got my fingers crossed she doesn't start arguing with those she works for. :o This all started at the end of last week, I do wonder if last Friday / the weekend had something to do with her not wanting to deal with this particular contractor.
