I'm up to my eyes at the mo folks and have zero time to catch up (long story) but Pink told me on the phone about lo Kyle and I'm so sorry. It's almost a year to the day that Dtwin1 broke her arm and I remember it well. Give my love to your mum. x
ps SS. Nice to see you in here. ;)

Hi haribo, thanks for thinking about lo and twink

Twink is still feeling really awful about it all, she said that the guilt will never leave her, she doesnt feel up to posting but have told her that everyone is thinking of her.

Have just had ds1 down in a hell of a state, came out of bedroom and left both gates wide open! OMG thank god lo was asleep, he came down and said he needed to do his insulin, he had already done it 2 hours ago! then started throwing stuff and getting angry, his blood was 24 which is quite high, got him calmed down so have decided there is no way he is doing that walk tomorrow!

Have enough to worry about so didnt need to worry about ds1 too! so he will have a quiet day at home tomorrow, will explain to teachers so they should understand.

All go here tonight, isn't it?!

Is twink the one with the little boy who broke his arm?

    If so and you're reading this twink;

When I was about 5 I broke my arm at school during gym time! Anyway my mum wasn't having any of it saying I'd just hurt it.

Then about 2 weeks later my eldest brother was beating me up (I'm twice his size now ;) ) and he pulled my arm and I doubled over in pain! Anyways he took me up the hospital and it was confirmed to be broken for 2 weeks! :rotfl:

What I'm trying to say is accidents happen. You took your son to the hospital straight away! My mum left it a fortnight! I've forgiven her! ;) And we laugh about it now.

I hope he is alright but don't blame yourself. These things happen. (normally to me  ).

If Twink isn't who I think she is then completely ignore me! :rotfl:

See, told you, you are a nice person. You are keeping up with us and you have sent Kyle a wee message. I know she will appreciate you. Twink is Kyle's mum and the accident happened when lo was in Granny's care - worst nightmare!!

If I didn't still love DH so much (36 years married this year!) I would have you as my toy boy!!

    Take care.

Kyle, I'm sure his high BM is unrelated and you are the expert in dealing with the behaviour that comes with a reading that high.
Stop being so hard on yourself and tell twink she is missed.

Twink - Kyle has mentioned you in the passing eating a chilli pepper when referring to another post - not the way to go! You never even lick your fingers.

Hope you are OK. Please do not dwell on what has happened. I know you will keep going over it in your mind and see the scenario and re think. (and think if only!!!) how to prevent it! He had already worked out how to open the gate and they are total wee devils at that age. When our DS pulled safety gate down just 9 months old as he walked just about then (DH upstairs, me cooking and each other thought in charge!!). Well doctor, sutures and still scar on eyebrow at 29!

    Take care sweatheart.

    Love GB xxxx
