This Time I'm Really Going To Do It

New thermals purchased and a bag placed in bedroom for collection of exhausted clothing!
Decluttering continues. I probably need a bit of 'method' but tackled freezer and made a list and then ventured to the kitchen food cupboards. Now, I did start a declutter of these some months ago but run out of steam! Mr Watty has placed some items into the cupboard which he says he is waiting to sneak back out into the bin as he doesn't quite know why he bought them! :eek:
After a mild lecture I have placed said items in bag to go to food bank collection spot 11/365 and then generally decluttered two other cupboards with little bits of rubbish binned 12/365.


Chopped up stuff to make pea soup in slow cooker tomorrow and stuff ready to make a sausage casserole as well.

Yes! (but only as one item) They made our room smell lovely - threw them all on the woodburner and left the doors open. Then put remainder of tree other than trunk on as green recycling bin full. Loved the pine smell here

Please feel free to witter about your plans for early retirement - I'd love it if as many people as possible can find their way to retiring early.

I haven't actively decluttered anything today, but I have some things that'll sell on eBay later, so I can count them when they are posted. My decluttering has been rather random so far - I also need a method. Hopefully will make a start on the wardrobe this week and I'll start going through cupboards on a systematic basis

Decluttering up to 17/365 as have now tackled 3 more kitchen cupboards and the cupboard under the stairs.
Sinking realisation the problem is not the clutter but that we are just so very very messy.
Was about to put a door stop in the charity box when I realised if I saw it in the charity shop I'd buy it so sat and cleaned it. It was a moving in gift when we moved here and now it is clean I rather like it again

Online banking access restored :j
Have checked accounts and am going to cancel one credit card. I don't really need two cards and once again they have charged me interest. No idea why - payment was not late - but really am not going to phone up for 19 pence but am just going to canx the card.

Off to update signature on here. So excited to see the figure beginning with a 4 rather than a 5. I really am getting there!
