Happy New Year Watty - and well done on the OP! - you need to show the world by amending your signature, though! :D x

Also well done on decluttering progress :) - I'm trying not to get disheartened by the 'pending' piles I now have! Will be good to get rid of some of them! :)

That is awful. Mr Watty prevented me posting a message on the village website to tell them all what idiots they were. Has persuaded me to post a polite one next year instead which is probably better for community relations.

I suppose people without horses just don't think.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Yup know that feeling as my office is very cluttered now having moved so much stuff in here. Have begun by applying to join a facebook group to sell some specialised books. Then wasted an hour on facebook :o

Sold something on ebay! Hurrah :j
I put a couple of very old DVD's on at £2.00 including postage as I noticed similar titles were not selling on action bids and one sold in a couple of hours. 9/365

I've loved reading everyones New Year posts. Last year my goals were simple, to continue riding and to pay £15765 off mortgage to hit mortgage neutral. I did both, but of course mortgage neutral is a kind of movable feast if one dips into savings for horseboxes :rotfl:

    This year my goals are
To get mortgage below £35,000. I would like to get it lower than that but I want a goal I can get to so I don't give up.

To declutter the house. I'm loving the living room area and would like the rest to follow. The rest will take longer as the rest of the rooms are very cluttered - so it is a year project.

And they Handsome Baby and I need some goals. This year we will compete at dressage, do our first show jumping competition and try cross country. I would also like to gain the confidence to hack alone so that is another goal.

To start 2016 with financial goals in place for the early retirement. Bear with me folks this will lead to a lot of witterings in 2015 :)

    There that's a lot to do for 2015 :)

Returned a jumper to JL in Bluewater 10/365

Place was so busy that it gave me a headache! Spent the money on a throw for the nice tidy living room and some new thermals. Mr Watty has pointed that all my everyday clothing is worn out. Last year I had a serious declutter of wardrobe with a friend but we concentrated on my working and going out stuff. My every day clothes are exhausted and probably the reason I am so cold. Breaking financial fast to replace thermals and look for a couple of warmer items for the next 3 months.
