Mr Watty's birthday. Goldiegirls fab idea of a "climb over the O2 roof" was a very well received gift followed by breakfast at Caf! Rouge. Fantastic time! Mr Watty insisted we drove to the O2 however and was shocked by the price of parking
But a lovely time was had. So thanks Goldiegirl :) for giving me the idea.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

How is the bute trial going?

Well the bute made v. little difference. He hasn't piddled off whilst on the bute but is still very jumpy and behaving like a pony being ill treated. Which I can confirm he is not! For sure!

Vets suggestion now was to get a different physio out who came Thursday, found him to be very sore all over and prescribed her treatment followed by 3 days rest.

And I have a hunch he is actually sensitive to the sugars in the grass at the moment. Its growing like mad here!

After 3 days rest, he theoretically can have 3 days light work which should start tomorrow. Only now he has lost a shoe :rotfl:
    Nowt easy with 'orses!!

Dog had to go to vet this morning. Nearly £200 bill - luckily just before I complained I remembered that it included the horse visit. Not sure there will be much to overpay this month (sigh)
Still nearly halfway through the month and determined to find something to make an overpayment with from somewhere. It can be done :)

Busy day at work and not a lot of time for anything else. Trying to fit in an extra report to read that should be an added £150. Also need to get back on board with various projects.
Bill for lorry service £400 ...umm...lets hope handsome baby gets out competing soon!

  • Hi Watty, just caught up with everything, so pleased the O2 walk was a good present, I am going to give it to my brother for his 65th birthday, he is the only one in the family who is fit enough and would enjoy it. Your wok issue sounds horrible, hopefully it is resolved now? Good luck on the extra report.
  • Hi Watty, I know the feeling of animals moping up any spare cash, and your lorry reports are helpfully putting me off rinsing the last of my savings in that direction.

Weather does funny things to animals, sounds like he might have hurt himself messing around in the field. Do you have a hunt nearby that might have spooked him?

Floppy he is a twit in the field. 'Nuff said :)
Finally spoke to saddler who made the helpful comment that he has grown somewhat, he can see this from the photos I have sent and that saddle does not fit. This is a new one on me, a saddler who does it from the warmth of his office :rotfl: Seriously saddler wanted pictures to review before coming out so he could think about what would be the best solution. I fear his solution will be costly but figures crossed while he thinks!
Handsome baby may have grown up :)

Toots the walk is a brilliant present. So nice to have something to remember the day by Mr Watty thought :)

Just doing the money juggle. I love this time of the month. May have enough to manage a small overpayment. Or, should I start moving cash into TSB account ...umm????

Wow a week has passed since last checking in. Where did that go??? Lost in a haze of no sleep (sleep patterns totally messed up) and work and running around with Mr Watty whilst we try to get things in order for his dad to return home after months in care. Nearly there. Catch up day! Getting back on track day!
Handsome baby news?? Different saddler booked for next week, one who actually comes out!
Lorry news??? with new garage and bill 1/10th of original quote hopefully!
    Now to begin catch up......
