It's the 8-9th Nov Watty! Not sure which day we're going but either way you'll probably find me at the cash machine. QUOTE]

Tsk tsk tsk. I actually googled it to find out where Your Horse Live was. Looks fun. And no, Watty stand away from the ticket buying screen! Cannot go! Will not go! Am overpaying!

Me too... but trying to get back on the wagon and reading about your progress has helped! So thanks! Glad that horsey things are going well and good luck with the BTL research.

Hey lovely to see you again :)

Am getting self back on track. MtM day 19 save money with a water meter. We have one. However I have put a big notice on the board saying check water meter as our water bills are huge and I'm wondering if the meter is not quite right as the yard water comes from a neighbours house rather than ours and when we switched the supply over our bill never went down.
(Neighbour agreed to this as his water is unmetered and we let him run his pipe through the field rather than him have to pay to dig up the road to put a new pipe in. The cost of digging up the road was huge whereas the field runs by the road so was free).
Mr Watty is wondering if we never actually used his water so we will check that out on a dry day!

    Your OPs are amazing Watty!

Hope that you get to the bottom of the water meter mystery, does seem a bit odd.

Well I'm not in London luckily or I could never even afford to consider the idea, but, I think Tootallulah has summed it up perfectly - will the BTL deliver quickly enough ????

That's the focus of the research! Its only worth doing if it can contribute to my income in a meaningful way making it possible to give up work sooner rather than later.
What's your timeframe? If you're just looking at one, how quickly could you save enough to pay the mortgage off? Taken us 17 years to virtually pay off 4.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Spent over 2 hours trying to figure out a document on Google Drive. Finally thought I'd cracked it and ...deleted a whole chunk of text that shouldn't have been deleted. Luckily colleague in Finland restored it. Can't figure out how to alter. another hour wasted. No time for anything MSE or to catch up! Better luck tomorrow.

  • Argh, isn't technology painful and impressive all at the same time! That could have been pony time. Are you doing much riding over the impending winter?

Well I seem to have lost my way a bit. Technology baffled me. Overloaded with work that isn't producing enough of a return and a bit of a muddled feeling financially.

So, rolls up sleeves, dusts self down and starting over. Lets see, there is a bank statement under desk, so lets make a start reconciling that.

Ah now handsome baby has vet coming out on Monday. He has taking to peeing off. Hacked Thursday and he was none to keen on me mounting and when I finally did he sort of launched himself forward in a most unseating style. Thank goodness he has a thick mane! I hung on to that and survived. I suspect he is being a stroppy teenager but I am going to get him checked out by vet as this has been going on for a while now, so, vet first.
