Plum puree made for freezer to use up remaining plums from Mr W dad's garden.
Feels a bit autumnal so now planning meals that can be frozen in prep for winter. Always worry about being snowed in so in MFW style am planning a freezer full of meals rather than the haphazard collection of 'stuff' currently in there.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

So glad you enjoyed camp.
How fabulous about the rosette.0 -
I'm really glad you are enjoying your riding, and it's really exciting about the horse box. I'm sure it'll be a good investment over timeEarly retired - 18th December 2014

Wow Watty, I was aiming for a quick catchup but you've been up to all sorts!
First sorry about the arthritis in neck, literally a pain in the neck and headaches you can't get away from. I truly hope the osteopath will be able to ease it comfortably for you.
WTG with all things horsey! Glad you and handsome baby had such fun on your weekend and that ambition to continue to thrive and enjoy life on horseback has been sealed with serious investment of t'lorry! Ok, so there's a money shuffle involved but again it shows how the MFW thinking underlies everything and why you're making such good progress all round! Well done on that huge extra MOP, your signature's looking excellent!
Work contingency plan sounds like a very good idea. Currently having a work crisis and think it may help to think of my work on those lines, so might borrow that idea, if only by outlining what exactly it is I do and identifying how many regular clients I have and average amounts etc. I could do this from my 'books' easy enough, then see where I stand. Will ponder.
Happy weekend (and hope your sleep improves). XStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Hi Watty, I feel your "guilty feelings" re the vehicle but I tend to find that actually the big buys work out to be quite sensible - for me it's the general frittering that is the problem.
I bought the dinner money envelopes at Poundland, two lots of 50 for £1.00.0 -
Operation Freezer underway! Reading diaries while take a break from kitchen.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Operation freezer: 6 portions carrot cashew and lentil curry (yumm had some for tea also), 4 portions of sausage casserole, 6 lamb shanks in balsamic vinegar, 15 portions of chilli and 2 orange cakes.
Kilo of mince that was half price in supermarket turned into kebabs
Had hoped to make squash and philly soup but have run out of steam.
Will do that tomorrow.
Have struggled with meal planning so think that turning cupboard 'stuff' and freezer stuff into actual meals in portion sizes might be a better plan as winter approaches.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I hope so. I’ve booked to take handsome baby to a showing clinic where we can learn about showing. I probably wouldn’t have done that if I had to pay £100 for the hire of a lorry.

Sorry to hear about work crisis. The contingency file is interesting. It is making me think about what I do. And if I was employing someone, would I actually want to pay them to do some of what I do??? One of my sections is to contact someone and not take on any work from them – errr – so – leaves the question why I’m actually doing it!

Busy day at work, nicely up to date.
Operation Freezer: didn't make the butternut squash soup but did make a chicken, celery, pepper stew for dinner and have 4 portions left over for freezer. Not the best I have ever madebut nice enough and used up 'bits' in house. Have taken all things out of their pots, put in bags (takes up less room in freezer stashing small square packages) and labelled.
Mr Watty asked if I thought it was going to be a hard winter :rotfl:
Excited by the way freezer list well on way to becoming a list of dishes with serving suggestions beside it. For those I've concentrated on stuff that will store well (like Jacket spuds, rice) or can easily be bought in local village (seasonal veg).Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I think this is another reason why it's such a good idea you (well, Mr. Watty) have come up with by doing this. It's not necessarily the content or even result at the end of the process, it's what you find out by doing the process itself and how it makes you look at things from the outside a bit.
Hope head and neck are behaving themselves. xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!
