Gawd Watty, not so good goings ons there!
Totally understand what you're saying about working from home, sometimes it feels like you've done a days work just to get sat down at the computer!
Feel for you about the jumps, hope you didn't end up out of pocket with man and van.

Rejoining diary
Neck pain got a lot worse. Headaches became continual. 3 visits to local chiropractor and Monday unable to get off sofa. Finally spent yesterday in London visiting a lovely osteopath. he thought one visit would do the trick - not so sure - still have headache but for the first time in a week able to actually do some work. £95 plus £30 taxi (too ill to manage underground) and train fare spent and able to work today.
May need to go back next week for another treatment. Will see how this one settles down.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Gawd Watty, poor you ... nowt worse than head, neck and back pain when you're expected to be at the computer all day!
That said, have you checked your set up in case it's contributing to the problem in some way? My change from laptop to desktop really helped as monitor is bigger and now higher up on sloping desk top so I'm not bending neck as much. This and swap to super bargain orthopaedic kneely chair have really helped.
Hope osteo hits the spot so you don't have to have too many more expensive visits. Feel better soon xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Thanks both.
Habibiboo you are the second person today to mention my desk/chair set up. Seriously considering what to do/how to look into this. I do have a very adjustable chair courtesy of a government scheme years ago but I'm wondering if the set up needs looking at. Not sure how best to do this but considering an ergonomics person if that's what they are called.

hiya Watty
another horsey person hoping to joining the MFW forums. I need to read back to catch up the history but hoping you are feeling a little better.
Its amazing how many horsey people have back problems. I suffer from lower back not neck but agree my set up at work got adjusted to help out.
Also just wanted to say well done on how well you have done in your mortgage overpaying / reducing. Hoping to start overpaying mine properly from 2015.0
