I did try a horse for sale in an eventing saddle and didn't move an inch despite him playing funny !!!!!!s, would have been off in a shot in a normal one. That saddle did cost £2,500 though!!
Ah well I was never ever going to jump so I bought most handsome a dressage saddle. It fits beautifully - but - there is no way that I'd jump in thatHence the idea to buy him something that I could jump in. Lovely instructor is currently jumping him in a very tiny but fitting pony saddle that is suitable for a Shetland and a toddler in my opinion. No where to put legs at all :rotfl:
hence idea to buy a proper one.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I've had a back person out who suggested carrot stretches but your comment about building pony gym on your diary did catch my attention and then when you wrote this, well, I think you might have an idea.
I'll text back person and see if she is working (she had a lot of time off and the other person I had out was a bit, err, wet?) , and, will try to find something on the web about exercises that we can do in the meantime. Thanks for the suggestionMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Have spent day working catching up. If I spend evening tackling that pile of reports then office will seem much brighter in morning
Off for dinner now then back to work.

Ahh fair enough, dressage ones are very limiting for anything but their purpose and GPs are really jack of all trades master of none. Do you lunge him in any of the training aids? that should help to develop the right muscles although very loosely as he is still young, but will help his flatwork too.Mortgage Apr 18 £417,894 BTL Mar 18 £162,857

No I've always been a bit cautious of using the training aids as I worry I'd get it wrong and do some damage. But, I have found in a tidy up a book on schooling in hand and now I'm up to date with work I've put that on the 'to read' pile.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
