finally logged back in to the new layout. Deed done just need to send off. Am dragging heels for no other reason than I can. Also have been having a panic about money and life in general.
I think I am just tired. And in being so a little overemotional.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Things are stressful for you at the moment. All you can do is be kind to yourself and keep putting one foot in front of the other. I have also have days / weeks where work just makes me cry but have found (much to my annoyance) that regular exercise really does help. We are all rooting for you!2

@Ramouth Sorry to read that sometimes you feel like that.
I think you might have a point about exercise though. I rode Most Handsome yesterday and he was so naughty I nearly gave up but then instructor friend turned up and yelled at us both and by the time I got off I was so exhausted I nearly fell over. I felt better afterwards!
Really tired today but have been out to try and match up some gravel that is used in the paths here. Epic fail so looked on line and have some people to call on Monday. Now, despite the wind I may do a little weeding just to get me out of the house for a bit. I have someone here who is going to spray the wood burner stove. The stove after all my efforts looked wonderful and the flue looked battered so I decided to invest in a re-spray of the flue.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

@Watty1 you are bound to feel tired at times, after everything you've been through over the last few years. I find that whatever I can't process at the time demands attention later; listen to yourself; do what your body tells you it needs; and please know that as well as your real-life friends, we are all here for you. You are doing brilliantly, though it might be hard to see sometimes love Humdinger xx3

Thank you. Sometimes the exhaustion seems overwhelming but the GP has confirmed there is no underlying reason so it must be shedding the past.
Found a nice metal daybed off Facebook Marketplace yesterday that was free so picked it up. I have a three bedroom house and really don't know what to do with the third bedroom but the daybed was free and might look nice along one wall and then if more than one person comes to stay they have their own room. Sadly whilst picking it up the exhaust on the lorry broke so that is an expense to be met sooner rather than later. Have made this week about vehicle fixing now as my car needs a service too.

Exactly this @Watty1! Shedding the skin...brilliant expression, I am now empathising with snakes; in a good way, I hasten to add! There's a snake in a medical logo; a symbol of wisdom and healing, I think. Onwards and upwards love Humdinger xx3

My new diary is here1 -
Just back from a university reunion. Seen some people that I've not seen for maybe 40 years. I realised the last 20 years I've sort of lost the person I was back then so the challenge is to now reclaim and rebuild me.
Also diagnosis from referral of PTSD but no real surprise there. Rest sleep and some therapy should all help.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

After a bit of a think have decided to invest in myself.
Yesterday I had an appointment with a hypnotherapist who helped a lot in the past and I'm going to see her until I get back to myself and today I went off to get my hair cut.
Oh my what a difference a hair cut makes. A lot of my hair has fallen out and i felt so down about that. I saw a different stylist and upfronted how I felt and just followed her suggestions. A much shorter cut and it looks thicker and a change of parting has hidden the bald spots. I've made a diary note to see her in 6 to 8 weeks to keep the style going. It was way more than I am used to spending on my hair but my goodness what a difference it has made to me.
Also decided not to go to a meeting tonight for something I volunteer for. I was really looking forward to it but he house is a mess and I've someone coming to stay so I think an evening of hoovering and cleaning the bathrooms before she arrives will be so much more beneficial to my general mental state.

I love this idea. I am guilty of investing in everyone else and not me so I am going to try this too. Thank you Watty xMFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200
