For a while now something has been baffling me. The business computer accounts programme said I had done very very well. But there never seemed to be the money in the bank account to match that. According to the computer I am due one very healthy bonus .. but ... never seem to have the money to pay it.
Yesterday I decided to do a physical stock check of the stock I have.
There was was difference of nearly £25K !!! Looking back I can see what I did .... and lets just say the slush fund is not quite as healthy as its theoretical level :rotfl::rotfl:
I can put a positive spin on it. I clossed that financial year thinking I was due an extremely good bonus but never declared it intending to carry it forwards. I paid all the appropriate company tax on that very good set of takings. Now I have entered the adjustment there will be a corresponding drop in company tax due and ... well ... at least I'm back on track
Feeling slightly daft here .....Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

Lovely Saturday. Running club arranged a 'cake run', 5 k followed by a visit to a coffee shop where spent most of the rest of the day nattering.
Left Mr W to deal with the dishwasher repair man ...and a very good job he made of it too as the extended warranty is up in a couple of months and somehow a huge amount of stuff is to be replaced at a follow up visit which should give the machine a new lease of life so all good there.
Spent the evening decluttering ... I am sure 'stuff' breeds.
Now today it is raining hard so popped into office to do some routine work and tackle 'projects' only to discover others must have the same idea. The website guy has responded, made some changes and sent me a video on how to do the others and a designer I had tracked down has agreed to update a file as she says she still has the master. Even had a reply from a filming chap I am considering for another project. All good hereMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
