Busy couple of days with horsey. Inspiring lesson with a new trainer. And osteopath for horse today. Thus the weeks money plus more spent!
Also very behind with work again (sigh)Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Login details for bank still not arrived. After major upheaval I finally found the little whatsit only to find it did not work anyway. All a bit of a faff as I want to spend some money - but - want to check the account to make sure I can afford to. This is quite a departure to 'of late' style when I would have just spent it anyway
In other news heart sunk when I realised I had a counselling appointment tomorrow. I have not missed the sessions in the break I have and my mental reaction was such that I just don't see any benefit in going back. So will go for session as have to pay, but, time to draw a line under that I think. Reflecting back, I think the sessions have been wasted. I feel there were issues I might like to have explored but I think I did not push them hard enough and she did not pick them up when I raised them.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Well, thats good information about the counselling sessions from your break, Watty - sorry to hear the issues you tried to raise weren't encouraged, it definitely sounds like its time to move on.
And hurray to wanting to check what you've got in the bank before you spend, yay!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Actually today's session was really helpful with some great insights. Just when one is going to give up eh? Still didn't make another appointment though. But today was excellent and I would not be critical of past sessions now.
Sadly still unable to access bank account. Counsellor needs paying. The only option I can see is to use the Mr Watty account and so I shall :rotfl: And I dont feel guilty in the least! I'm not sure he will even notice as he rarely even checks his statements.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

opps 9 days away and a very spendy 9 days. But in good financial news at long last the gadget to enable me to get back into on line banking has arrived and I have checked the account. Surprising how anxious I had become about checking that account. Paid off credit card sums in full. Noted £6 overdraft charges from time in lala land.
After a comment on this board I changed the title on my spreadsheet so it will now look like a a rather boring work related spreadsheet rather than about my slush fund/spotted hanky fund. Spotted hanky fund building nicely and probably time to start thinking about where to stash the cash so it earns some interest. :undecidedMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Was a lovely day until the farrier arrived and gave me a bit of a talking too. And he was right to do so.
I suspected a while ago my elderly pony had melanomas. (These are common in white/grey horses) and I had just thought I would keep an eye on it. Well, now there is a swelling there too. So early next week I will call a vet. I have already decided there will be no operating as the pony is elderly and I will not put the chap through surgery. I made that decision a couple of years back when another issue arose which luckily resolved itself and I remain certain that this is the right line to take.
Whilst I am hoping the vet will simply say an anti inflamatory and anti-biotic will resolve things I'm actually sure farrier is right and we will be discussing prognosis and what to do over the next months. Head and heart somewhat full this evening.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
