Just a very quick check in. Well catch up with you lovely lot's diaries tomorrow.
I think Mr Watty has had or is having some kind of breakdown. He isn't that good at all. Been to the doctors. He will carry on working because he says he feels better at the routine of work and he doesn't have to think. And he is getting on ok with the mental health counsellor I suggested he chat with.
No idea what the outcome will be but hanging in here, and, after a curry (home made) for dinner, and, just eaten a bar of chocolate and I don't feel so bad. I think the chocolate may be the answer for meTo think I never used to eat sugar and now .....hey ho!
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
God bless, we are all rooting for you. Xxx0

What SHS said!
And it's good that Mr Watty is getting help - and probably good for you that he's still going to work - you both need the space at the moment.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Oh dear, this all sounds awful. I am sorry. But double b....cks to the brother for taking advantage when your oh is clearly in a very bad place. I know you will be kind, but you must think of yourself too. Good luck. XPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Just caught up on several pages and oh my!! Watty, i really feel for you. I hope Mr watty can resolve his issues - but it's bl00dy hard being the coping person (you) around someone who is having issues (Mr W) - and dealing with an unwanted dog just adds to it. Limbo is no fun
Many, many hugs and best wishes and thoughts for you xx
Ps- family issues can be a right pain in the proverbial - so much of who we are and how we act can be tied up with our childhood and things get terribly messed up in our adult heads. Family and grief and guilt do not make life easy x And money can just add to the problemx
