Big news. Dad died. Totally unexpected. Out of the blue. Mr Watty is away. He says he is staying where he is and focusing on what he is doing as there is nothing he can do if he rushes back home. He will be back Tuesday. Spent most of the evening on the phone to a friend. And now have found a glass of wine. This is so unexpected. And almost too much to take in. Two weeks ago we were discussing the adaptions to the cottage for him to come home again and now he never will. Phew.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Oh Watty, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. And you're on your own till Mr Watty gets back?
I'm glad you phoned your mate, and yes, had a glass of wine. Of course its almost too much to take in! Be especially kind to yourself, please, you've been having an awful time recently in any case, and a sudden death of a parent is horrendous
My heart goes out to you.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
