Cup of tea and a catch up read on here. I am exhausted. Which I think was to be expected. Managed to do some work today which was needed. Have cancelled an event I was speaking at on Thursday with many apologies. I cant face doing it. The organiser was very nice and we have rescheduled for next month. Tea drunk now going to pack the orders for work. The downside of self employment is one can't just phone in and skip the day ......Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Well, thats true a bit, but what you might do is put a notice up on the website saying there's a week's delay for a family bereavement, or put your email on automatic reply saying the same thing, sorry, there'll be a delay. Of course you're exhausted, it's real. I'm so sorry it's real.

Oh Watty. That's what happened with my dad last year - completely out of the blue. I do feel for you so much and send you lots of hugs and prayers. I know kitty doesn't do cuddles but I hope she is around and near you.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

That's a really good idea KC. I will put an automatic response on email. I'll look at doing that tomorrow. Although tomorrow I have to go to Sheffield. I did think about cancelling but after chatting with Mr Watty he really felt I should go as it has taken me nearly 6 months to get this meeting set up. so I will go. the rest can wait.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Thanks AM.
And...drumroll.. kitty is learning to do cuddles. She isn't that good at them but she is trying bless her. She woke me at 4.30 purring this morning whilst standing on me. I was delighted, I think her transition to pet is almost done.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

So sorry to hear about Mr Watty's Dad, Watty. What a terrible shock it must have been.

Excellent day in Sheffield. It has taken about 9 months to get the deal to his point ...but .. it looks like it really is going to go ahead. Maybe another 3 months to hit market but really pleased.
Downside was that then had to come home and support Mr Watty through the process of telling other family members about dad. Just brother and mother. Mother fine, they divorced many years ago but obviously there was still a connection there. Brother hasn't seen dad in many years but now informs us he has had many happy memories of the cottage and asks what is going to happen to the place....... I am trying to be tactful but can't help be annoyed that there has been no useful input or practical help for over 15 years that we have dealt with dad and now suddenly brother wants to visit and coo over the old place.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
