well the work thing is partly because I decided to explore digital marketing and am probably pushing myself too hard to get on with the plans I have.
Ebay buyers paying up but I somewhat underestimated the time and effort it would take to safely pack a mountain of vintage china! Also am out of packing material so will have to start shredding old office paperwork soon!
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Three months of paperwork that needed to go has been shredded and shreddings used to pack vintage china. Nice lot of clearing there and money in paypal account :)

Would popcorn work as a packing material?

(Only suggesting it as we have somehow accumulated a stash of popping corn...)

Went off to look at a rural slum locally today. Is an old farmhouse with barns and outbuildings. Have seen it before and was interested in researching more just to sign it off. Took a long a planning consultant who was so knowledgeable and helpful. Really good. Well worth the money. And having spent it I now have all the answers on that property. Yes, potentially it is a good buy but not for me. I just don't have the cash needed to do the work and sell off parts of it. Which is fine. I consider it £150 well spent as now I will never sit in Cornwall wondering "what if" as know that for me the figures don't stack up. Pleased :)

Just had lovely message via ebay thanking me for sending some of the vintage china. Buyer is delighted with it and already invited friends round for afternoon tea. It was quite a long message and it was so nice to receive it. Another buyer also messaged to say she was 86 and didn't know when she would use the teacups but she had wanted them for years. I replied suggesting daily use and to have fun, bless her. Sort of makes me pleased I let it all go as it was just sitting in a cupboard here. It was joyful but I realised I wouldn't pay someone to move it and clearly the china is sparking much more joy elsewhere.

  • That is lovely that the China is sparking so much joy for other people and that they took the time to message you.
