The whole situation sounds like its getting increasingly complex
and increasingly demanding. Sorry to hear it, Watty. I bet Mr Watty's dad will be very glad to be sprung from the joint, it's rarely a good experience.

Dad wasn't allowed out. He needs his drugs checked and a scan. He was also being un-cooperative. He has a history of refusing things like scans because he doesn't see the point so hospital were warned to tell him he could only go home if he had the scan. May release tomorrow, but, more likely Tuesday.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Finished some figures for accountant and realised our electricity costs had gone up considerably. So checked online. Now as our account is managed online you would think the company's own system should tell me if it has a cheaper tariff so I pressed the comparison key and yes. Hurrah then read it and it is 15.8 per kwH rather than 14.522...umm...how does that work then? Definitely more expensive me thinks. The system lies!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Hope Mr W's dad digs his way out tomorrow.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I hope he gets out of there, pronto. Grim place to be at the best of times - we spent 48 hours there with my dear dear grandad earlier this year who had advanced Alzheimers. It was so horrific it made me consider going private for all things medical going forwards.
I hope Mr Watty is ok, and that your cold has eased xxMFW

Sorry to hear about your husband's father.
I imagine Gally is right re. the electricity but be sure before swapping as we had a problem with our electricity supplier a while back and had to pay quite a lot of money at the end of the contract.2018 totals:

Hope you can spring Mr Watty's dad out tomorrow

Dreadful. Been here 9 days. Running the joint. Am in despair. Never realised puppies were such hard work. Very cute but the minute I suggest puppy does something a temper tantrum of the highest magnitude occurs. Yesterday he stood bouncing on the spot barking. A dog trainer has been called and is expected shortly! I know him and he is excellent so high hopes we will shortly be saved from the temperamental little chap and magically a delightful fluffy puppy will appearMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Sadly no waiting is not her style! We now have to go and buy her television! She refuses to recognise her ex- husband’s predicament and so it doesn’t count!
Is it possibly dearer per kwh but no standing charge? That is usually better for lowish usage households.
We are a high usage having no mains gas. It seems the “sophisticated system” uses an average finding rather than specifically using the data it has!
Delighted to report that found another supplier and having calculated own use, should save £185 a year! Could have saved a little more but that supplier had such awful reviews that I decided to take heed of the warning!

Totally get the considering going private for all things! Cold steadily improving. Colds clearly are the work of the devil. Some are so awful that one is sure one is about to die and yet really one knows they will pass in about a week. I saw a documentary recently that said the older one gets the less one gets colds as one has been exposed too so many. That’s an advantage of aging for sure!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
