Reflections will have to wait. Practical steps. Put cheque book to bills account in woodburner. Mr Watty manages to write an unexpected cheque on bills account every month so account ends up overdrawn rather than slowly accumulating to pay once a year bills !!! Exasperated I have burnt the cheque book and we will manage without one now ;)

I can't really complain as just checked account and see the latest cheque was for hay ...but really I explain monthly about the accounts and he just doesn't get it bless him.

Also found pet insurance company had paid in £214.92 which is annoying as vets bill pushing £800 and I've no idea what vet has claimed for as insurance supposed to be paying vets direct.

So call into vets to try and sort - and - pay the large bill for colic visit end last month.

    More financial shufflings this afternoon.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

He is really well thank you :) When I tried to bring him back into work, things didn't go well but I got someone in to help - she backs naughty ponies and she really helped him get his confidence back. And me too. Saddle I bought to get him into work (£250) no longer fits (grrrr....) and now I have a treeless saddle. I love it. And it will adjust with him.
    So all going well.

New year plans being made to spend much more time with ponies rather than this work lark!

Resourceful day. New phones and contracts ordered. More expensive - but - we were going over allowances a few times so may actually be cheaper in the end.
Car insurance sorted for both our cars. why can they not just do the best deal to start with ??? Price reduced. Happy with deal. Could maybe have done better but felt a bit pressured re time.
Vet bill sorted. They dropped the £41.95 credit charge  given that they are meant to have claimed most of it off insurance company - and - admitted they needed a claim form. Emailing claim for failed but will be taking doggy in for a check up later in week so will drop off then.
