This Time I'm Really Going To Do It

Lovely evening. Mr Watty particularly enjoyed the buffet (lots of local cheese) and the free beer (from tiny local farm breweries). Really nice.
Must admit to feeling a bit down today. I ate some sugar over the last couple of days and I usually avoid the stuff as it makes me feel crap - and - true to form it has done so again
As a result I am behind and in a muddle. Some things just don't change!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
I know that feeling! Sugar, wheat and dairy from cows (sheep and goats are okay) ... they all make me feel horrible after a few days, and if I eat cows' dairy after about midday, I also get a migraine in the middle of the night. Yuck.
Anyway, your evening sounds lovely! And local micro breweries sound to die for. Wonderful. Just take it easy till the sugar crapness wears off, you'll be fine :kisses3:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Thanks KC.
Have decided a blitz is required.
Todays targets:
Bring some sense of order to house. This is easy as it is cleaner in today. Not partic MSE I know but I have always figured I can earn more per hour than she costs me and she has a focus that I do not. While she hoovers and does whatever I can round up washing and generally remove all the crap that has collected.
Drink water (a 500 ml water bottle filled and on desk to be drunk by lunchtime and refilled to be drunk by dinner)
Clear deskMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

The blitz is clearly going to need to be more than a day thing. I think more like 10 days to get on top of things :rotfl: Anyway cleaner as gone, order superficially restored and the washing machine has been doing its thing all morning.
Water drunk.
Posted on AJMoney's diary and that reminded me exercise has gone by the wayside hence my thoughts a 10 day blitz on everything might be betterWill plan not to exercise today think that might finish me off.

I had a cleaner for years but no longer do as she always left us looking clean and tidy so we never did a really thorough clean. So actually the house was filthy, as not unreasonably, she never Spring cleaned. Now it is a bit hit and miss about when it is done, but the place is cleaner.
Enjoy your weekend, mounds like things are looking up xPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -

She isn't bad actually and will wash skirting boards etc. Mr Watty says it is definitely cleaner than if I did it :rotfl:Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I could send DS to help out. He is currently paying back a loan of £30 at £5/hr. Excellent and pulling our sofas and beds and doing behind them, plus cleaning skirting boards and wiping the walls down. Does it sound like we are giving him the yuk jobs :rotfl:
Have a good weekend. Need to sort out my pm box and delete some then I can message you back.
