This Time I'm Really Going To Do It

Hi Watty,
Just wanted to throw in another take on your friends situation. I hope you don't mind.
I have MS. It is different for everyone. I do not look ill at all and I work 28 hours a week but every day is a fight from beginning to end. I don't tell all my friends my symptoms and I know there'll be a point I need to stop work before it finishes me off. So for example, my sister asks me weekly to jack in my job :rotfl: but friends wouldn't understand that. My sister and hubby are hoping I get made redundant to reduce stress. I manage to do all this with having wee sneaky snoozes during the day! I feel terrible after a hard day in work and I know this could effect my long term health. Is it worth it? Nah not really but I like working. Sad eh?:rotfl:
Ok so I've made this all about me but in short- even my husband and sister don't know how bad I feel some days. I've kept my numb tongue between me and my neurologist! Youre friend probably just needs to work out if they do need to leave work how will they manage to survive!Mortgage balance Feb 2015 start of MFW Journey-£245316.06/Aim to be mortgage neutral 2022 — Target for May 2024 14 Year Target Balance MF50 = £89,535 — Mortgage Balance £106, 000—Target for May 2024! £89,535

I do think your fair to say that if you friend leaves work you can tell them to do without the iron spray;)Mortgage balance Feb 2015 start of MFW Journey-£245316.06/Aim to be mortgage neutral 2022 — Target for May 2024 14 Year Target Balance MF50 = £89,535 — Mortgage Balance £106, 000—Target for May 2024! £89,535

It worked out ok. I rearranged one event to be done by email/phone over the course of 24 hours and then fitted all the rest in - though did have to rely on Mr Watty driving me from train station to one place as didn't have time to go via house and pick up own car!
Phew. Will be more mindful in futureMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

MSE Tips for the Watty household. Change password on Amazon account so Mr Watty cannot charge things to my CC. And remove Mr Watty's card so he cannot use that.

Need to get back to regular checkins as need to give this journey a bit of a boost.
Lovely long walk over fields with dog and Mr Watty the stopped in village to buy papers eggs and bacon. Delicious brunch and now lazing by fire with 'puter and papers.
Ponies good.
The time of year and dog health issues making me more than usually reflective. Will share more as week unfoldsMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

This time of year does tend to be reflective. As it's the 'end' it's natural to want to review things
Sounds like you've had a nice day, though. We've been finding that, if we don't get out for a walk in the morning, we tend to stay in all day. The afternoons are so short nowEarly retired - 18th December 2014
