If it was a faster payment, it might be over their floor limit - just a possibility.
But fantastic that you are there, bar the technicalities:j:beer:
Congratulations!
PS, regarding pasta, I must be fully de-cluttered as I only have one bag of pasta in the house. It's a 3kg bag, but it is just the one!Early retired - 18th December 2014

Hi Watty, I've loved your diary and ambition. With regard to payment failure. the bank is trying to accumulate more interest from you before you clear the mortgage . I hope it happens for you tomorrow, and when it does I'll have a drink for you :T1.7.15: £157,469.64, 10.02.16: £93,434.74

:rotfl: But ...wail ... I don't have kids !!!Final payment calculated as of todays date: £22,626.03
All funds transferred to one account to make payment. And...
payment was declined by bank... have no idea why. As mortgage is with the bank that the money is sitting in I've left them to sort it out.
It might take up to 3 days to sort apparently.
Bit of an anti-climax especially as I've dithered over making this final step as although it means we are mortgage free - we are in debt stillLuckyinlife wrote: »Watty i hope you keep posting on here now your MF i dont want you leaving us hehe2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
