Is Foggy Fell still at home?
Absolutely. He is never going anywhere. He is 28 this year bless him. And still as gorgeous as ever. I would love another fell pony just like him - but - after Mr Ed's brief spell with us - I am a little cautious as clearly they are not all solidly reliable little fell ponys :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

All will be revealed...just checking it will work first :)

Lovely day out yesterday. Went to Margate to the Turner Contempory to see the Grayson Perry exhibition. Now was a nice day out - but - having tried modern art exhibitions a few times - I realised I don't much care for spending hours in a gallery :) But I went and it was fun to send time with 3 girlfriends. 3 of us paid for lunch for the driver so £20 for day out.

Home to late to follow up on plan. All will be revealed in good time my dears :)

Am delighted with the figure yes Lucky. And am spurred on.
    So here is the plan:
Emergency cash savings earn £15.18 a month
Same amount of mortgage costs £116.03 a month.
Bit of a no-brainer to wipe out emergency savings and then start to rebuild???
    But it isn't quite enough.
However my company's financial year has just begun - so - I could borrow the rest from the company on an interest free basis.
It seems as long as I pay the company back within the financial year there are no serious implications - unless - I've missed anything.
So I would technically be MF - but - would just have transferred debt in reality - to a limited company owned by self (with no partners so no one to object).

Both my wife and I really enjoy visiting galleries. She's the artist, though I'm currently studying for an MA in History of Art, purely for my own interest.

I've just looked up the Grayson Perry exhibition thanks to your post, it's a long way from here but I think I'll have to take Mrs K at some point over the next few weeks. Thanks. :)
    2018 totals:
    Savings £11,200
    Mortgage Overpayments £5,500

That sounds brilliant, watty - it's a saving of £80 a month, more or less, in interest costs.

Can I ask, in the interests of thoroughness, what are the "serious implications" if for some reason you can't pay it back within the financial year?
