Enterprise programme sounds good, fingers crossed for a place. :)

Now I think about it I really would love the place - so - I wish I had treated the application form more seriously with the respect it deserved rather than just firing it off. I am being rather hard on myself for that :(
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

If you saw the state of the place you would know that another major declutter drive is required. Just can't seem to motivate self for that just now!

I'm not surprised, watty - you need a bit of a break after the mortgage push - after all, everything else is still going on, and you need to keep juggling with all of that too!

I think de-cluttering fatigue can set in, if you do too much in a short period of time.

It took 6 years to get to the point I'm at now. I say that de-cluttering is finished, but if we ever downsized, more things would have to go.

The more I think about downsizing, the less I want to do it!

Love the idea of decluttering fatigue. Totally understand it and understand you wanting to stay put too :)

Just logged on to on-line banking and the mortgage is gone :j

But forgot to cancel direct debit and so the bank took the monthly payment from my current account today  at self

I know they will refund it in time - but - hand to transfer £200 from savings to prevent an overdaft. Have now cancelled direct debit for future but cross with self for such silly schoolgirl error.:embarasse

Have spent some time this morning binning all mortgage scrawls and calculations (I never got the hang of spreadsheets) and writing up new notes for the repayments of accounts. At this point looks like my ramblings on finances and ponies will be continuing for some time to come.
