This Time I'm Really Going To Do It

Busy weekend. Yet more ragwort clearing. Managed to top one field (cut grass). Popped into a local butcher only to find an amazing offer on pork. Turned out their wholesaler had dropped off a lot of pork destined for another shop that had just gone bust. Whole lot had to be sold quickly and was cheap. So some lovely pork joints in freezer and roast pork with runner beans, mashed swede and roast spuds for dinner this evening finished off with garden strawberries. Great food. Life is goodMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Mr Watty is pressure washing the patio. It looks like a scene from the Somme out there! Hey ho! At least more outside clearing is happening.
Restored bench slates arrived. Think pal would have put bench back together but Mr Watty said he could do it. He can I agree. Just whether he willMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Good luck with that! Being able to do something, and actually doing it, are very different, I agree2023: the year I get to buy a car0

An overpayment made. Now desiring to be under 35000 by the end of the month. to do so I need to find £910 from somewhere and as work was very busy last month I think there might be a bonus on the way to the mortgage towards the end of this month when I've finally finished last months work accounts.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Pressure washing is soooo messy. When we do our patio, we have to be kitted out in wellies and our oldest clothes, and our old glasses, in case of flying debris !
Here's hoping for £35000Early retired - 18th December 2014

The mess is unbelievable. I went for shorts and wellies! Mr Watty is in shorts wellies and waterproof jacket but I will still need to wash two windows and two sets of French doors
I'm hoping he finishes today as at the moment the dog is traipsing in sand! And dirt! and the entire kitchen and living area (its open plan) is now filthy. Hey ho!
Spending spending spending here. Despite only yesterday promising to be economical I realised I couldn't make anything in my wardrobe work for a 1980s themed party on Saturday. After a hunt around the net I've bought a pair of neon pink heels, neon pink legwarmers and some neon beads (v cheap) and also a 1980s dress. The dress can go back if it doesn't fit, as can the shoes but I'm hoping something arrives by Saturday in time for party even it its only leg warmers!
Mr Watty and neighbours husband declined my suggestion we dress up as the 4 Ghostbusters but me and neighbour were up for itThe good news is that I sold something and received the money by paypal so cost neutral.

If the ragwort goes in the green bin I think its fine.0

Money spent on private doctor so worth it. Initial appointment, tests done, follow up appointment and I have sensible explanations for why I have felt so bad and a plan on the way forward.
Worth it for sure.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
