Went out to feed the ponies today and thought "what a lovely life". How things change from a few weeks ago
Now at work and whilst I may not like it I'm focusing on the 'bigger picture' i.e. FIRE !!
Off to make a cup of tea and tackle the inbox of emails. I'm sure they breed in there.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Hi Watty I'm so pleased you are feeling brighter. The mild weather and bright sun really helps doesn't it. I've been up since 5 with poorly DS
but on the plus side I've almost got my days work done - one of the many perks of working at home! Treat yourself to a custard cream with your cuppa
:)xx
ETA I've just read back. I totally agree with Mr Watty. Smash this mortgage to smithereens in 2015 and build your fund back up in 2016. Sounds like a tall order but if anyone can do it ion ca. Whaddya think?! Feel free to set me some ridiculous challenge in return tooxx

Not sure about setting anyone else a daft challenge. My own is daft enough.
In spirit of challenge a couple of items listed on ebay - and - :j - sold the bits bought for 80s themed party on Saturday night already so that is a result.
The one time plan to use ebay sales to buy some shares is now off the table as I need all the cash I can get my hands on for the last 6 months of this year.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Thanks Apple Muncher. But that 9k was a bit of a cheat as I did use some of the emergency fund to do that. The plan is now to hammer it down by the end of the year so there will be a bit of 'cheating' in the final pushMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Glad to see you're feeling brighter Watty - it comes through in your posts. Money well spent x
And fab smashing down of the mortgage!:j:TI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -
Well Greent cost is on credit card due to be cleared next month - but - yes - feeling like living again was worth every penny!
Most handsome finally has another saddle which should help out with his back pain issues. £300 spent.
New saddle needs a pad underneath it but quick chat with saddler and I worked out I could make one that did the job and we chatted through that and she agreed. I already have the bits to do this :j
Also she promised to buy the saddle back when Most Handsome has muscled back up enough to go into his original saddle so hopefully I won't lose to much on the deal.
Rode for all of 15 mins. Most Handsome not happy. Think will investigate getting a professional to help with the return to work.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
