    Oh my word :rotfl::o

About 15 years ago, I started to upgrade my coat hangers. There was a cheap corner shop place in Golders Green near where I used to work every so often, and they sold 3 wooden hangars for £1.50. I kept buying a couple of packets until I'd replaced everything that was cheap and tatty, and I'm *really* glad I did.

Have you hung everything up now?

  • Hi watty:)

I have started a diary and yours is one of the many that has inspired me to do so, your figures are great! This OPing lark gets a bit addictive doesn't it.

All the best, can't wait to see you on the roll of honour xx

Yes, everything hung up. And a neat pile of spare hangers :) And I totally understand the joy in wooden coat hangers!
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Hello Atypicalblond :) How nice of you to say that my witterings have helped inspire you. That's so kind. And yep the overpaying does get addictive.
Lent challenge today was to tackle the bookshelf. One carrier bag of books to donate to charity shop and a huge pile propped up beside bed that are either to be read and donated or just donated.
Now I just have to remember to take my glasses to bed rather than the kindle and then the insomnia that seems to be part of the depression can be put to good use.

I am a decluttering wonder :) Mr Watty's mother sent via Mr Watty 2 chairs she said I wanted. Err...did I??? I know I'm not quite myself at the mo but???? Anyway, photographed popped on Freecycle and out of the door 2.5 hours later :j
Not counting in lent 40 days/40 bags as not here long enough to be called clutter :j

  • Brilliant work getting rid of the chairs! Will mil expect to see them next time she comes round?
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

Goodness Watty you must be getting on a bit - even I don't store dead pens yet :D.

    :rotfl: to coathangers :rotfl:.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Wow, it's like a revolving door for getting rid of clutter. In and out before it had time to wipe its feet (or legs in the case of chairs)
