This Time I'm Really Going To Do It

Day 2 of Lent Challenge. Decided to do car. Major clear out, removing enough dog hair to consider spinning it to make clothing, 3 empty water bottles, bits of plastic cutlery, redundant glasses cases x 3, a bag I never take into supermarket and that dog was clearly working on shredding, a bamboo cane and a broken bit of electric fence. Also threw CD that came with car some years ago and removed a work file that had been in there since October. Now under terms of lent challenge I had to deal with file. Sent contract to someone, and then began negotiating a deal for a conference this year. As I do this for an American pal free of charge the motivation had not been there to really get going - but - lent challenge requires I clear out and act on area picked in that day.
Considered taking car to be washed but ran out of day. Can't remember last time it was washed. Used a bucket of water and rag on back window, headlights and number plate!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Thank youSteal away. There have been times in the journey when I thought it would all grind to a halt but I've just kept on going. Checked bank account this morning and I will end the month with £600 left over - so - that overpaid today.
Into the £47 thousands this month ...so should be into the 46 thousands next month. I sort of forget what a huge achievement this is!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Via Facebook, a lovely picture of Mr Eds leading his local hunt.
Am almost sorry he is not still here and then remember how awful his behaviour was when he was and am happy he is living somewhere he loves.

Am loving my lent challenge. Since the car I have done my in trays and a couple of other parts of office. Discovered I am of an age where I have kept pens that don't work - but - have redeemed self by throwing them away and even bought some coathangers so that I could clear the bed in the spare room. That was yesterdays lent challenge. When I finally cleared the bed found a pile of coathangers :rotfl:
Still the point of this is to actually clear and declutter and I've kept up with it and definitely at 7/40 bags cleared.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
