Thanks both. Am still feeling a little down about Most Handsome baby. He is cheerful enough. Farrier coming Monday. Had another chat with vet. Looks like this is going to be a long haul. Partly sad for poor baby as he must have been feeling very sore and also sad because I had done so well to rebuild confidence and now have hit a point where I can't ride.
Mr Watty muttered very gently about getting a Fell Pony. After the bonkers and ill mannered Eds of much earlier in journal I feigned total deafness. Eds can stay where he is winning championship titles with his young rider and any relatives of same chap can also remain firmly elsewhere.

Feeling more positive and back to the declutter. Can't let my totals slip :)
58 Packing chips that have been cluttering floor in office used to pack around an ebay sale
59 lump of granite (random eh) decluttered - now in Mr Watty's barn (no I don't know why he wants it :rotfl:)
60 2 boxes given to neighbour
61 broken mirror thrown - why was I keeping it in my handbag ????
62 sorted spare lightbulbs 4 empty boxes thrown along with 2 bulbs that don't fit any light fittings we have
63/365 mailed scarf to sister in law. bought it as a gift for her before Christmas and forgot to send.

What a random lot of decluttering!! Hope to do some financial sorting later and make small overpayment too.

Yep, random, but great! And I too have Christmas presents I never gave - I don't do posting presents, I don't think anybody in our family does, so they'll sit there till I get the health to go up there :)

  • Really sorry to see your news Watty, is it a conformational thing? Farriers can work miracles these days so hopefully once you get there it can be managed simply.

I don't think its conformational. I think I've just been very unlucky. Farrier here Monday so will know more then.

    Cold wet miserable day here.
Decluttered main bathroom. There remains far too much of some very odd stuff, but, 12 things thrown bringing total to 73/365 - and - a few items left out to see if that prompts me to actually use them.
Mental note not to let Mr Watty near a chemist. We have 3 bottles of hydrocortisone pellets, 4 tubes of anti-histamine cream, 3 tubes of other insect bit cream and so the list goes on. The cupboard is rammed. We will be ok until (a) old age or (b) we downsize.

New printer has arrived. Why oh why did I not check its dimensions? I allowed myself to be 'sold' it over the phone from the company that I've used in the past. Its clearly a very good printer but it is way bigger than the other one and loads from a different angle so wont' fit in the space.
Mr Watty however used his morning off work to resolve situation brilliantly and has made a piece of furniture for it to stand on from some scraps of old wood and an offcut of kitchenworktop all found in his barn.
It looks agricultural. But it works.
I cannot with good conscious mention his barn is cluttered again :)

Most handsome baby has his new shoes on, pads under them and some sort of fluffy padding around his feet. And painkillers.
He reminded me of me trying to walk in high heels bless him.
And so the road to recovery has started.
