Gosh can't believe it has been so long since I checked in here! Think a combination of sun and the new herbs really helping. Sleep still crap but am feeling a lot brighter.

And have stuck with the lent challenge and am on to 18th bag/day 18. A lot of decluttering going on. I'm not entirely sure I can see a difference yet, although I can find things in the filing cabinet which is a relief! And the bins are going out very full, both rubbish and recycling. Today listed a pile of stuff on ebay. Am grateful for lent challenge as it has probably been the only thing I was able to do for a few days - but - getting back on track now!
Off to catch up with you. Thank you so much for your kind words on here. What a lovely community :)

I'm glad you're feeling brighter, watty, the sunshine does make a difference, doesn't it! and having less clutter and being able to find things also help :)

Thanks Karmacat. Lent 40 bags/40 days day 18 nearly did for me. I tackled the office bookshelves. This has, between work, taken all day and resulted in one huge box of paper for recycling, a lot of shredding, 3 books sold on facewhatsit and a pile of stuff for further sorting and probably despatching moved to floor. Worn out but sense of achievement as can actually see what there is on shelves now!

Great list Alchemilla. Thank you. Maybe I need to pin a list up to refer to it. Am doing the water and only wish I could sleep before 2 am.

But sunlight and fresh air in good supply so am going to go outside for an hour or so!

For lent: office looking good. I have now finished every surface except Mr Watty's desk, all drawers, cupboards files and storage! Phew!! Never would have achieved as much on the daily declutter but the 40 bags/40 days really working. Recycling bins almost full again. Spent yesterday evening listing stuff on ebay. Sold an unwanted charger today! Hurrah!

Hahaha - now I have a vision of Al giving Ponyplops the Han Solo treatment with a lightsaber when she gets stuck out in the snow. Poor horse! :rotfl:

Nothing poor about that horse. She is coming out of winter as podgy as she went in.

I do miss the Sith Sense website where you could play 20 questions with Darth Vader.

Both horses podgy here too. 20 questions with Darth Varder :rotfl:

Lent challenge working well. Mr Watty helped clear the loft yesterday. Unable to report treasures found but recycling bins overflowing, and many bags of stored in bin bags waiting to be disposed of. Few items to be freecycled or ebayed. Mountain of cardboard delivered to neighbour. Ever since I found him bin diving for cardboard in my recycling bin I've been giving him our cardboard. He says he wants it for wrapping items he has renovated but I'm not entirely convinced he uses it all. He never turns it down now. Wonder if he is just too embarrassed ??? :)

Loving 20 questions with Darth Vader :rotfl: I didn't know about that!

Cardboard - does he use it as mulch, or maybe tear it up to put in the compost bin? Or even make briquettes and burn it? Or maybe he really does just put it in his recycling :rotfl: he should say if he doesn't want it!

    Podgy horses :happyhear
