Ironing basket empty
As we live on the edge of a wood, OH has been scouring the back garden to remove any new trees that have seeded themselves. Unfortunately I forgot that he finds identifying plants difficult and I found him removing a rose bush.
Light fitting purchased for new bathroom which is now 2 weeks from starting.
Also bought a window vac so am actually looking forward to the usual morning condensation.
Park visited and ducks spied.
In middle of a roast back soon x0 -
Have been zipping around delivering and collecting. Outgoing (to chalet), last let's washed bedding and plates scored from CSs, Incoming: Portmerion plates for fleabaying eventually. Dog to beach, where running occurred - it's defo not my challenge, but probably needs to be *pant*. Morribunds. Dropped OH and shopping off, whizzed up the western side of Dartmoor (beautiful) to get a hostess trolly that I found on Gumtree, and then home to find OH had sorted out yesterday's DIY co*k up. I heart OH.
I've never known anyone who had a hostess trolly but I think it'll solve that hideous last 10 minutes before a meal when everything is totally chaotic and I get mega-stressed. I'm simply not able to produce hot food for 25 people without finding solutions to these problems. And it was dirt cheap.Better is good enough.0 -
My Aunty has a hostess trolley. She loves it at Christmas time when there is tons of stuff to be served at the same time.
Need to put away washing when I get up tomorrow afternoon. May have time to fit in some flying but may need to do the list on Thursday when I finish my nights.
See you tomorrowDebt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
Bathroom done this morning then sister, BIL and Eva came for dinner. DD now in bath and then boys can go. DD had to go first because we've found another kitten (remember we found on this time last year). We left it down with all the other cats and hopefully it's mother is there, so DD want to check after her bath if it's gone. Seems to be only 3 weeks or so old.
Pigpen It depends on the boy, does he see weed as something good or bad in his life. If he see's it as not a problem then i'm sorry he's not ready for any help. If he see's it as a problem then he needs to get some serious help, he needs to start with the GP and be referred for help. Do you see him and your DD staying together long term if so help all you can and if not don't get too involved or he'll have no-one when the relationship doesn't last. OH started smoking that crap at 15 and eventho he's older now he's not grown up past that age. Plus it was weed addiction that lead to his schizophrenia and a host of other problem.“Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”0 -
Trying to get DD to sleep. "But sumfing setting me up!" <tries to think like 3yr old> "err, something upsetting you?" "Yes, the dragon, so I want to go in there" <points to mummy's room> Ugh this is why I don't like her to nap...
Toys are all away, homes found for birthday gibble and washing / ironing all away, except few bits that are still damp are on radiators!
Curtains were closed as I felt temp dropping, although we haven't had the promised rain yet.
DD bag ready for morning, will go get my work stuff out. Have DS at home till 11 (I am working ) but I've got the cbeebies app now so he can "work" too. There was a rather significant organisational change this weekend, so we might be rather busy.
Right. I think I want some supper!Bossymoo
