Hooray it's the weekend. Kids are still asleep but DS1 has already left the house to get the bus to his football refereeing course. I would have bet money on him not getting up. DH had a chat with him on Thursday. Whatever he said appears to have had some response because he applied for 2 jobs yesterday and asked me for assistance.

The TD has been fixed. The thermostat was broken. It was only £40.

I've got to do my meal plans and arrange an online shop for Tuesday late afternoon. The kids have given me positive feedback on my new style packed lunches. It's a bit more effort but worth it. I cooked a banana loaf that I will today slice and freeze for next week. The kids were hotter they couldn't eat it there and then. I have 3 more over ripe bananas so I might make another.

MIL didn't come home on Thursday, she felt very nauseous so they kept her in. She was allowed home yesterday. I'm going to see her this morning.

    Lovely photos Pigpen.

    Morning all

MR3 great news on the school place

Bossy I love the cake, how fun to live in a palace with sparkly turrets

Mumto5 great news on DS1. When mine was a ref he could earn £40 in a weekend and was often turning down games.

Weekend plan is to get lots of small jobs done, especially things I want DH to help with has he has 2 work trips to the US before the end of October which will be 4 'lost' weekends. List time I think!

    Morning all :D

Been up since 6am here as I've decided that when DD is going out with ex for the day she can get up as if she was at school. It'll give her a chance to do homework etc from 9am ;)

Yesterday I managed to get my books out to customers with some help from DD, a batch of dishes, sorted some laundry and that was it. We had take-away for tea after me saying we wouldn't have any for this month, but I'm claiming that as a reward for DD who has been up and out for school no problems 2 days running, was really helpful this week when I've been unable to do much and had just been to work with me in the rain ;)

    Weekend plan:
    Ironing
Repair DD's blazer pocket (its just the stitching hasn't caught properly when it was made so no big deal)
Stitch the belt loops on her other pants
    S&S kitchen
    S&S bathroom
    Make beds
Slow cooker tea - beef stew
Put Mr A order through (I forgot last night!)
    Email/surveys
Source some info for people & send it to them
    DD's timetable
    Calender/planner synchronizing! :rotfl:

I'm off to do HHI at 9am if anyone wants to join me? DD has just announced she has no jeans to go out in :o

Why has the thread gone fat? I can't read it without scrolling back and forth.

DS1's bus did not turn up so I had to leap out of bed and take him to his referees course.

I came back via a retail park so have bought a new cat flap as ours has lost its door. It hasn't been a problem in the summer but with the weather getting colder the utility room was very chilly last night.

DH has put the WM on (falls over with shock).

Do Ctrl+(minus sign) and it will shrink the size of the page back to where you want it.

    Yay for your DH :D

Ah ha ha! I would do the same, when we were hanging the girls curtains, DH was holding the vac while I drilled :D and he could not find the 'on' switch. He's lived here for a year and the first six months of that were on his own  I'm not even sure he knows what the big white box with the round window in the kitchen does! :rotfl:

I was SO tired after yesterday, but I collected my new car :T AND my blood donation was a breeze :j I didn't feel squiffy at all. Booked in again in 16 weeks.

House is like a bomb site :( and DS1 has woken up with horribly swollen eyes, he can hardly see. I have given him antihistamine tablet and drops but if they're still bad in an hour I'm going to have to take him to the OOH GP :(

Today's plan has changed slightly. I've done the PO and shopping and walked the dogs etc but DD has now asked for something from her winter wardrobe which is stored away to keep her warm on her flight, so will take this as an opportunity to sort out the whole storage area. I'm not sure though whether to put away the summer stuff yet. Maybe not. I have my fingers crossed for an Indian summer.

Will then hoover through and check food/toiletry stocks for the winter.
Spend less now, work less later.

DD has gone out with ex, and he's informed me of some dates for the calender & asked me to add DD's school dates to the calender on my phone but I don't know how to do it so it syncs with his phone :o I'll have to get him to show me later. :o

I'm watching Food N3twork today as its the C-word programs all day so I'll get on with my other jobs on the computer while DD is out and doesn't need it for homework ;)

    Weekend plan:
Ironing - HH done, now I'm going to take a break
Repair DD's blazer pocket (its just the stitching hasn't caught properly when it was made so no big deal)
Stitch the belt loops on her other pants
    S&S kitchen
    S&S bathroom
    [STRIKE] Make beds [/STRIKE]

    Email/surveys
Source some info for people & send it to them

    Calender/planner synchronizing! :rotfl:

Okay, I'm going to get on with some of the computer based jobs now with a coffee ;)
