    Gah.
Just spent 3 hours doing downstairs - dust, Hoover, rearrange furniture, get loads of stuff out for charity shop - books, DVDs, ornaments. Not sure it looks any better but it must be cleaner cos it's taken so long!
Do I get the weekend off now for being a good girl? :D

Yes, Rosyq, you do. At least, that's what I think. Bossy, the cake looks fantastic! Deco - I forgot to say, well done on the cinema visit. Regarding holidaying alone - the only way it worked for me was to take activity holidays. That way it was possible to spend my time with newly found like-minded people. (I'm still not one for lying on a beach, although I'm a tad less active now.)
    Better is good enough.

Deco, I went on a "solos" holiday before I met DH - it wasn't cheap, but it was a learn to dive holiday, and I gt my padi open water qualification. They did other holiday types too. Activities, beach, city breaks, even whale watching! I had a fab time and met lots of lovely people in the same boat.

    Bedtime I think...

  • Thanks HB & Bossy I've had a quick look on the internet and looking at the prices it will be at least a year before I can afford to do it (maybe even 2 years) but I will do it.

    Evening

been at horsepiddle today having my jaws pulled around, and woohoo, I can have feasibility models at next appointment with Consultant and I have been told to keep 17th Dec free to meet the surgeon as they are hoping that my molds will confirm I am ready for surgery (as I have been on the waiting list for 8 years to get this done, I am being treated as urgent) so surgery looks like a go-er at some point in 2014.

Went out to meet old friend and her rescue greyhound/lurcher cross, with DD1, DD4 and DS in tow......lent her some gazebos out of my logcabin for a few weeks (to help with her upcoming houndy charity work) so less clutter in there will help me get all of DD1 and DD2 worldly goods rounded up ready to take away.....lunch decluttered in local pub down her way.

Done very little flying here today, tomorrow will be similar as DD1 and DD2 are going off to a wingding in Southend aka Sarfend, so young skints will make most of petrol and see their Dad....and I may take some quality time to see mine as I may or may not be able to get back into Towie Town for Thursday, two years has gone so quickly.:(

Piggers those pictures are just adorable, even having DD4 here at a tender 7 and half months, there is something about a newborn littlie than makes my ovaries twang! Good job I am on my own otherwise I would be Skinty 6 before long :rotfl:

Right time to declutter some WDYTYA on !player, then bed nightie night!
The cold never bothered me anyway

Are you learning to play & have you taken any grades? I would love a piano... when I have the money... and a detached house... I will play again!

I now have 4 knitting projects on the go.. I can't finish the pink one until I have bought a 3rd circular needle to finish the purple one and I need a bigger circular needle to get past the rib on the red jumper for Spam and the jumper for DD1 for Christmas needs me to not be tired otherwise I can't concentrate on the pattern and I go all wrong.. I'm sure it could have been written more clearly rather than the jumble it is!! Anyway.. I can do a little more on Spams before I HAVE to go to the wool shop but as it is closed Sunday I shall trot off tomorrow and buy the correct size needles.. I bought one size today and I think I just have shrimps in my head as I knew I needed the smaller ones too I just forgot! I might take the ones back I don't need and just swap them... or I might not!

In the last 3 months my wool stash has been severely depleted... so I was very naughty and bought some more.. probably more than I have knitted up! But it is nice! I must learn to knit during the day otherwise I will never get through it all and will still have a stash when I croak lol..

Lovely cake Bossy I hope this one goes down as well as the smaller version.

Bag of rubbish binned so I am now off to bed! Recycling gathered up, animals fed..

    xx

Can someone remind me on Monday I need to register Delilah with the quack please? I keep forgetting!

No, I've been teaching myself from books and suchlike. I don't want to be great, just to be able to bash out the odd tune. I used to play cello (was in a concert - once) but am struggling to even read music now. DH keeps trying to persuade me to take lessons.

    My plans for today:

    Breakfast & wash up
Sort the dogs out with food and medicine
Wash hair and make myself look presentable
    Wrap & post parcels
    Get bread order from baker
    Walk dogs
    Hoover through house
Plan which stores are needed to see us through the winter

And as it is such a lovely day here I will try to catch up with the washing.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
