In the 80's I wore, Beverley hills red or Giorgio....
In the 90's I wore Lou Lou or anais anais.
I couldn't wear any of the above now so I wear the following three.
Summer, I wear Est!e by Est!e Lauder or miss Dior by Dior. In the winter it has to be Clinique aromatics. Aromatics always reminds me of my son as I bought it as a signature scent when he was born.
I think this is a lovely thread xx0 -
I've had loads of perfumes over the years and my fave (at the moment) is Florentyna in Marks and spencers, the pink one.
When you're next in M&S, have a smell of it. It's lovely.
I've always liked so....? too.
The two I've mentioned, beat all the designer perfumes IMO.
with designer perfumes, I like J'adore.0 -
I've had more compliments from people when I have worn the cheapest of cheap bottle of perfume from Lidl called Suddenly! It costs about £3.99 for 60mls.0

I also like Light Blue and wore it years ago. I had smell of it yesterday at the airport and the assistant mentioned they've changed the formula and it is slightly different, which it is. And still lovely.
My other favourites are L'Issey Miyake, Gucci Envy, Anna Sui Dolly Girl, Ghost and Chanel Crystalle. I also like Davidoff Cool Water - Love the Ocean, as a summer fragrance.
I seem to recall that one of the M&S fragrances is very similar to this type of fragrance (fresh/chypre?)
Most of the time I use moneysaving copies in the form of Perfume Parlour oils, which are a snip at the price and some are indistinguishable from the originals.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0 -
Classic perfumes that I have worn in the past have been:
Lou Lou, Obsession, Vanderbildt, amarige, Ysatis, Opium. haven't worn any of those for years.
Currently into the DKNY Be delicious range and have the light blue, red, golden and the delicious night. Fir a fresher summery smell I go for O de Lancôme, and my favourite has to be Tresor by Lancôme.
I also came across some good cheapest in M and S - their autograph range, in black/blush and New York variations. they don't seem to do them now though0 -
Unfortunately I generally have no sense of smell-it went years ago. Very, very occasionally it returns for a few minutes (I often try to smell flowers just in case) I still like to use perfume if I'm going out but only use Ysatis or Cachet as they used to suit me. I'd love to be able to try out new ones.0

My current everyday favourite, which I've been wearing for a couple of years is Diptyque's Tam Dao, which is a Sandalwood based scent, but I'm a bit of a fragrance freak, and I have a massive collection of scents that I wear depending on how I feel.0

It's supposedly a lighter version of Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle for about 1/10th of the price. I quite fancy trying it, not that I wear CM, though I did go through a period of wearing Coco years ago.0 -
My two favourites at the moment are Kylie Minogue's Showtime and Locoste Touch of Pink.
I've never been much of a perfume wearer until recently but I've gone through a whole bottle of Showtime and bought a second, which is something I've never done before.0 -
SJP Lovely,DKNY Be Delicious red, green and night, Armani Diamonds, Lacoste Touch Of Pink, a DKNY one I forget the name of but is very crisp and citrussy - wore that to work as it made me feel efficient lol!
Marc Jacobs Lola, Amor Amor, Idol D'Armani , Arden Beauty and Covet by SJP.
I likes my fragrances.
Possibly more in my handbag. The above are what is in my top drawer.
When I was 16 I would drench myself in Impulse Chic...0
