I'm another Paul Smith fan. I like Rose too, and I also like Woman, although its smell seems to fade more quickly.
Both are lovely, but space nk woman is really lovely too.
I think the magic of good scents, the kind when peoe stop and turn round and ask (which is always so flattering isn't it?:)) is a combination of it being a nice scent in its own right, a nice scent for your body chemistry and one that makes you feel great.
E.g. Chanel no five doesn't suit me at all. However lovely. And it didn't Sui my sister until she had children. I have come to the conclusion it maybe doesn't work with some women until they are older or have had children maybe. Others might have the right body chemistry or sophistication to carry it off younger, on me its just...not right, smells wrong.0 -
I like Ralph by Ralph Lauren and Paris by YSLEarly retired - 18th December 2014
If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough0 -
My favorite is YSL Cinema
My son (he is 6) often request I wear the special edition Baiser de Cinema, so it has become my signature scent.
If you dont like heavy perfumes, then the above is not for you. Why not take a look at this site, to find similar scents to the one you would normally wear:

My first proper job was in a perfume factory (Lentheric Morney) putting tops on bottles etc on the fast moving conveyor belt constantly sounding by pong, so that put me off wearing perfume for many years.
You got paid 1p an hour extra 'danger money' for a timed stint in the talc room...no masks mind you but you were made to drink milk after:rotfl:
These days I love Body Shop's white muskI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

Absolutely - never leave the house without it. I used to feed piglets each morning before I went to work - wearing my best matching underwear, wellies and boilersuit and of course a scoosh of Chanel Cristalle. I'm sure those little porkers appreciated the effort:D
Been wearing Chanel Cristalle for 25 years now and still love it - it's lemony and a daytime perfume.
Wear Hermes, 24 Faubourg on and off - it's a bit of a safe bet for me.
I also wear Elie Saab these days - lovely and I think anyone who like Jean Paul Gaultier would like it as there are similarities.0 -
Current favourites are Armani She, Hugo Boss Orange, Lacoste Love of Pink
I also have a few Avon scents which are lovely and relatively cheap0 -

Lentheric, there's a blast from the past.
My first Saturday job was in Boots, on the perfume counter, I was probably selling the bottles you were putting the tops on :rotfl:Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
