Aura by Swarovski (this is very special!!)

I have a freebie tiny sample vial of this. I like this smell, not too heavy and not too 'sickly'. :)
Herman - MP for all! :)
  • Anyone remember Aqua Manda, from the 70's, I'd love to smell that again.

I don't remember it, but I have seen it available:

I never wear perfume, mainly because I never go anywhere.
The last time I wore any was over 20 years ago and it was called Samsara, no idea who it was by but I liked it.

You don't have to be going anywhere to wear perfume :)

I don't often wear it but at the moment I like Jo Malone Nutmeg & Ginger as I was given a sample at a networking event there. Not at all what I was expecting; it's a fresh cool scent, not warm or too sweet.

My Granny and Mama always wore the same scent - which means that if I smell Poison, I expect to see my Granny, even though she died 9 years ago. Similarly, my mother always wears either Stephanotis or Seringa , both of which are Floris perfumes, and not particularly common, and so both smell to me entirely of my mother (a very positive association, by the way!)

About a month before out wedding we had a particularly fruity night, I was wearing No.5 and told my OH that the next time he would smell it would be our wedding day. It still has the desired effect 10 years later, one whiff of No5 and he'll do anything :D

I have had two strangers remark on my fragrance lately - mosty recently a lady walked past me, turned back and asked what the gorgeous fragrance I was wearing was...

I get that a lot with Idylle.

I love my Agent Provocateur perfume, I wear this in the evening. For daytime weekends I wear J'adore by Dior and for work I wear Thierry Mugler Angel at the moment.
I like to change what I wear, I do like Kenzo ones and Agent Provocateur ones, so after I finish the ones I have atm will shop around for other ones

I wear perfume everyday even if I'm just doing housework.i would start with cheaper scents until you find the type you like. Great advice from the poster who suggested cards and samples or spraying in stores. Heavy perfumes give me ahead ache even when someone else wears them.

My current favourite is bvlgari jasmine noir exquisite I love bvlgari christaline bases too
Issey miyake going to try the marks n sparks edition :D
I love nina ricin lair du temps

I'm another Paul Smith fan. I like Rose too, and I also like Woman, although its smell seems to fade more quickly.
